Niv-Mizzet the firemind is one of my favorite early commander format boogeymen, and honestly I think it's gotten even better and not just because of the other two nivs that do something similar Ghyrson Starn, Keleremorph really synergizes well with Niv and actually allows you to kill your opponents before you deck yourself by tripling niv's damage off of a curiosity effect

Niv Mizzet the Firemind was one of the first EDH decks I made in like 2013. I just looked and I still have it mostly built. I stopped playing it because I always became enemy number 1 as soon as everyone saw him. This video has made me realize, a lot of people won't see it coming now......

A suggestion for Borborygmos, Consider the enchantment All will be One Attack with Borborygmos and give him double strike All of your creatures will get a total of 2 +1/+1 counters each That will trigger All will be One 2x times X = Number of creatures And just watch as everyone else starts dying out

I've had a Niv-Mizzet deck for a long time! I don't play it much anymore, but I still find it's a great way to test the strength of a new decklist. Great for multiplayer too, you can drop the enchantments and spread the love out to make it less degenerate in more casual groups. Now about those cyclops...

Other great cards to pair with Niv-Mizzet are Charisma, Sigil of Sleep and Basilisk Collar. I also recommend running a Detection Tower in the mana base.

I think too many people mistake and morph the idea of power level. Even janky decks are great and can be the bane of High Power level decks bc they attack their weakness

The ghost council looks very interesting due to how under powered it is nowadays. It's so unassuming I could completely see going the while game unnoticed until everyone sees their life totals in the single digits and you're still at 40

Charisma is nutty. It doesn't say combat damage AND they don't get the creature back until Charisma is gone.^^ Charisma is insane with anything that can ping repeatedly OR ping multiple targets.^^ Here's a fun example. Wojeck Embermage with attached Charisma and a Shifting Sky in play. Congratulations! Everything is now either dead or under your control... forever.^^
