@@KT-pv3kl Correct and wrong, 70% of a car battery is water, when you maintain it you refill it with water and if it's to low it will die. So yes water preferably destilled water is a key component in a lead acid battery.

The context of the question is that voltage times amperage is wattage and we only have part of that equation. How many amps can be pulled from this battery how large does this battery end up becoming when it is usable amperage. How heavy is this battery? For operations that need pico amps maybe but then how is the electricity stored in the battery? What kind of degradation and oxidization would happen with the entire assembly over time? Theoretical statements are great like we have successful fusion energy that runs for a couple seconds. So it's possible but is it practical not yet how can it be adapted to work We don't have any of the information to even theorize on that yet. I'm theorizing this is due to the difference in a liquid versus solid or hybrid battery that uses a electrolyte I'm interested but not convinced. I'm way more interested in sodium ion technology. If we can increase the energy density and discharge capability of sodium ion, We would have practical long-term short-term general use and easily convertible batteries of similar size but with much better safety and transportation considerations inherently. As I am convinced hydrogen will replace standard petrol fuels alongside electric battery vehicles And we will have two definitive markets EbVs and H²Vs. I believe that these water battery applications are going to be confound to large bodies like wind solar and other green or blue energy production facilities that need to be able to store their peak capacity to offset their unusable time of use. Most of these technologies look too far in the future to transition smoothly We are not going to see practical uses of water batteries in our consumer products. What we may see soon is a influx of sodium ion batteries are rechargeable and inform factors that are going to continue to be the standard for consumer products. I would maybe give graphene a upper hand in some small applications where high amperage draw may be needed at peak but not normally. My reason for this is carbon is very good at heat transfer which can be a bad thing when dealing with batteries but also a good thing when dealing with small amounts of peak current draw. I'm also predicting a rise in hybrid batteries that are coupled with super capacitors able to handle those higher discharges while having a high density storage. Any audio technician understands this principle and likely expects to see sodium ion technology rise in pro audio and car audio equipment. If anyone else has other thoughts on the future of battery standardization please jump in!

I smoke a vape and they have rechargeable lithium-ion batteries I had one of them short out in a backpack 1 time when I was walking into Walmart I had my backpack on and instantly shot 3 1/2 foot flames outside my backpack melted the whole thing got hot enough to melt the metal external charger thing that I had in there with it melted all the way down in a matter of seconds so those lithium own batteries are not a joke it'd be so much tank for to have something else and won't explode

Sanding the zinc off one side of a coin and adding a few other parts and some electrolyte, you can quite easily make anough juice to light a small led eith a smsll cell. If you were to do something similar that was maybe flexible and like the size of a plate and stacked many together, you could make a reasonable car battery if the math maths

@WTF_BBQ
@WTF_BBQ 3 ай бұрын
@@typicalwatcher1557 You said "aqueous " which means water. This is already a baseline handicap for that chemistry. Lithium ion maxes out at 4.2 volts per cell which is way above water electrolysis potential. Lead acid batteries is the only aqueous battery that maxes out at 2.2 volts while all other aqueous maxes out at 1.8 volts, however, during the charging cycle of lead acid battery, the water undergo electrolysis releasing hydrogen gas. We all know this...... At best, you will need 2 cells just to match 1 lithium battery's voltage. This means that it will be heavier and bulkier than Lithium ion with the same energy density. This is not a battery for EV. It's more suited for solar power.......

Fun fact: John Bannister Goodenough (/ˈɡʊdɪnʌf/ GUUD-in-uf;[3] July 25, 1922 - June 25, 2023) was an American materials scientist, a solid-state physicist, and a Nobel laureate in chemistry. From 1986 he was a professor of Mechanical,[4] Materials Science, and Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He is credited with identifying the Goodenough-Kanamori rules of the sign of the magnetic superexchange in materials, with developing materials for computer random-access memory and with inventing cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Also worked on a water-based battery 🔋 😳. End of thought 🤔
