Are My Subs Good Enough?

i always recommend people keep what they got, sometimes getting some dsp/eq functionality can extend the bass. if you do not know what you are missing then that is fine. i reached for lowest possible bass early on, so now i always want that.

Oh hey!!! That's me again! ( Cee Ess O) I was commenting on Techno Dad's video yesterday. I have uploaded a video a couple days ago and I would love your inputs guys. About the subwoofers: I have the SVS SB2000pro and it goes down to 15hz in my room. I got these Klipsch speakers to test and I will upload a video about these and spoiler alert: They pretty much outperform the 12" Klipsch r12sw and r120sw subwoofers! this past Sunday I invited my brother over and showed him the single SVS and the dual klipsch c310sw and we watched the race scene in Ready Player one and the beginning of Edge of Tomorrow. Long story short: he preferred the dual klipsch subwoofer over the single svs that goes deeper. I have yet to experience the lack of sub 20-30 hz difference. If you guys have a specific scene from a movie I should check it with and compare the subwoofers let me know pls. So far I am %100 satisfied with these klipsch. I am also trying to hunt down another svs sb2000pro and try them in a pair. Perhaps that could be another video. Cheers!

@darocazaranchi2659 as long as you like is not wrong. I can afford a good subwoofer. I have the svs sb2000pro. Plays down to 15hz on the dot, 12hz (-3db). Yes somehow i like these two better. I has my brother listened to them and he doesnt care how much they cost. I didn't even bring that uo tonhim and he preferred the two 10 inches that roll off from 30hz.

@@CSOCSO my JBL cinema subs can get them down to 7.5Hz but so what not much goes on down there expect for the sine wave tone

@thetrueprohomecinemasound175 did you measure it with rew? When you say it goes down to 7hz you mean its at the same db level as the rest of the reading? That would be surprising. Just because u see the woofer moving doesn't mean it "goes down there" my svs sb2000pro can do 15hz at the same db level and 12hz -3db
