I'm a Filipino and I'm so done with my own country. Going out of the house feels like a warzone every time. You have to be vigilant because you never know what you'll gonna deal with because of people's selfishness and lack of manners. I feel a lot calmer and peaceful when I'm in other countries.

That's so true. Generally, Filipinos are friendly and nice. People here with their one, two, three or more experiences of bad Filipinos are crying too much not accepting although they know in their mind that all of those experiences occur anywhere. In my recent visit to Canada, a tall blonde lady rear-ended me. I asked for her license to exchange info, she hesitated. I called 911 for help. Before the police came, I approached her to ask for her license again, snubbing me and talking to somebody on the phone, she was crying saying: "He was rude to me (what a crazy liar ) I thought it was her husband. Police came. They asked for my license and story. It took long. They did not bother asking the white lady--one racism. When she finally gave her license to me and we had a little bit of arm wrestling for she was so hesitant when she was handing it to me and I grabbed it as soon as she did but she wouldn't let go. She ran to the back of my open trunk and slammed it hard. This is the friendly Canada. Still, I regard Canada as one of the best countries in the world. Most possibly, there were other racially-motivated bad encounters that other non-Canadians have had and I've heard some from other people when I was there. We all still love Canada. Because we are mature and kind-hearted people. Killings of kids and black people in the states does not make the US the most dangerous although that country has a very obvious racism. People here dwell on their experience and are still crying. This vlogger have started it.

You're not living like when you go out there it happens every single moment, NOO!!! In Canada? It is a good country but racism is subtly done by the white people and it hurts especially in the workplace. There's always bad in ANY COUNTRY. There's a lot of bad in the Philippines but There's more Good and it weighs heavier than those bad things you mention. You just have to take it or leave because you can't be living your short life like a very whiny child. Those bad experiences are bad and truly happened just as the so many good experiences of the any foreigners happened truly, otherwise, they're lying to themselves and being miserable.

Being a Filipino I so hate the inconsideration of late or early karaoke, there should be a bylaw on this. Too many to correct in the Philippines. I believe in fines and punishment, this is where the country is so bad, it's a forgiving culture and that's why even the imprisoned corrupt officials I am convinced besides being forgiven, bribe themselves out of jail after a couple years. Also money is so powerful although it's not exclusive to the Philippines. But at least in the states you see rich and influential criminals being punished.

The Philippines is inhabited by a population of children and I don't mean to be offensive, but if you examine their behavior carefully , you will arrive at the conclusion that they are indeed children, deadly and violent children, take for instance, not admitting their mistakes , it's a typical child behavior to deny/admit his/her mistake. Denialism was developed as a coping mechanism to shield them from the horror of a country they themselves have created. "That's impossible, how to grow like this. Criticism is important" As easy and logical this statement sounds, it's alien to an average Filipinos. They simply don't give a fk and the worst part is, they don't do it conciously , it's subconcious. It's really painful to try to analyze their behavior. In a short, there is no hope for Filipinos, they are a hopeless case.

I dodged a bullet in the Philippines, after living there nearly two years, built a nice house in a province. Initially I thought it was a nice place to live, but after seeing the place through rose coloured glasses, I came to realise it was quite a horrible place. Loud music all night, filthy streets, they drop trash everywhere, mangy dogs everywhere, the crab mentality, the ‘me first’ culture, the foreigner will always be at fault in a vehicle accident, they will take, take take, the foreigner will be taken advantage of. When I complained about the loud music, I was told to go back to my home country, growing nationalism is a problem. The humidity became intolerable. The guy posting this video spent a long time apologising for the many annoying aspects of the Philippines. I removed the rose coloured glasses finally, sold my property and returned to my home country. Left the Stone Age behind.

Most folks have to get out, if they want to get ahead. PH greatest export is people, and remittances from abroad the greatest import. I agree with what you say. A history of being colonized, the awful Spanish treatment, and corruption have taken their toll. The TV dramas are very unhealthy. Filipinos are very resourceful and tough though. They make a lot of sacrifice. They hold a lot of stuff in, bury their feelings, hence the cruelty towards others, is what I think. There is no help at all for those struggling with mental health issues, rampant dysfunction or poverty. Rich ppl often treat the poor badly, exploit and abuse them. White skin is considered 'beautiful', while brown skin is 'ugly'. It is a tough place. Despite the poverty, it is surprisingly safe. But that seems to be changing too. If you're a weak and poor country with not much to show off on world stage, your default choice will be nationalism and being overproud is the thing unique to those asian developing third world countries from southeast and south asia such as Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India. When your country is not well known around the world other than cheap labor export and young wifey market towards the middle aged cauasian, your default choice will be watching vloggers who show positivity towards your country to cope. When you see your own skin or your local products as inferior but overreliance on foreign quality products and think that they are superior, the local entrepreneur will find it so hard to succeed to push local brands. As you can see filipino are using media to control their life on how they think and how they should support. Filipino will pledge the proudness for their Jollibee fast food chain or their fame boxer Pacquiao or Miss Universe or some Hollywood star even with 1.03% of the filipino blood, but the moment when you lose they will turn their back on you Short answer : Filipino have massive inferiority complex riddle with coloinal mentality, in result they suffered from deep identity crisis especially those filipino who are born in the US or Canada

@@asiareveled As damaged as most Filipinos are, there's something to be said about someone like you who thrives on content that caters to his hatred of a specific country. If this is your coping mechanism in dealing with the negative things you experienced in a different country, you'd probably not survive in Somalia or North Korea. Get help and therapy instead of self-soothing by feeding your ego with comments from others who are simply too racist. It's becoming a cesspool of hatred against Filipinos simply because of your personal experiences that don't reflect the experiences of others. This is similar to how people in echo chambers act, and I'm not surprised that certain people get into cults because of the wounds they refuse to get healed.

Back when I was living in Cyprus i met a few pinay girls, and they all told me the same thing as a fact for the Filipinos. Among the very first things they are being taught in English are the phrases, I love you, passport, citizenship. Most of the girls there are taught to find a guy from EU or US, and venture out to their luck. Now with that tiny bit of information one can imagine how their mindset works

As an Aussie who has spent quite a time living the daily household life in South Africa, England and now retired in the Philippines, I learned very quickly to live by the old saying “When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do” - hardly had any issues. My Filipina wife and many of her family and friends eat with their hands. More prevalent in the provinces or those raised in the provinces, especially i the Visayas. Usually if I am with my wife (and sometimes with step kids and step grandkids) I have no problems at all (unless I am driving, that is a nightmare). My main complaint with Filipinos in general is that they drop their litter anywhere. I find that disrespectful of their environment but also a bit stupid because when it rains heavily, as it usually does, that litter blocks drains and causes flooding.

3 years ago I stayed at a hotel in Pasay. There was a large group of professionally dressed Korean business types checking in while I was waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport. The leader of that group, 40ish male, about 5'7" and 130 pounds was putting on a show for his underlings. He was obviously angry about something, yelling (in Korean) at the 3 ladies behind the reception desk, flailing his arms around, making sure everyone could see him degrade the Filipino staff. The security guards did nothing of course because the hotel wants to rent out those hotel rooms so they let the guy put on his little show. I turned to a woman in the lobby next to me and told her that in my country, that little runt would have been picked up by security and thrown out on his ass in 2 seconds if he acted like that. She's about 51 yrs. old and does not speak any English nor can read even books as basic as nursery rhymes! And her problem is not unique! It is ubiquitous in this country! About the noise problem, I've complaint about noisy neighbors so many times. Even at the barangay level no one seems to understand that there are rules, local ordinances and laws about nuisance. I'm not hopeful that things will change here. I can confirm, Im a Mexican and have worked shoulder to shoulder with philipinos for years now. Their youth is actually nice but veeery mentally numb, like, oblivious of reality. Not mean but pretty much slow, not too bad and I feel comfortable among them, knowing the teens wont betray me nor backstab me. Their adults and especially elders are the ones that... I dont appreciate that much, to say it gently. They are reeeally rude, they never say hi in the morning and actually they literally frown when they see you to the eyes, like, they have a normal expression and when they SEE you, they FROWN, like, proactively make a negative facial gesture with all their intention. And Its weird because they are waaay weaker than me, mentally and physically, and without wanting it I regularly exceed their collective capacities and performances with little effort, so theres no real point on playing a childish 'cold war' on me, when they are quite incompetent and completely reliant on their community, their unofficial ethnostate because as individuals in white countries they cant succeed alone, so their 'power' is in their collective hive strategy.

Spot on. The younger generation born outside of the Phillipines can be the most obnoxiously, rude animals I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. They are immoral fiends who would happily be raped by a cat if the price is right. When it comes to money they have no moral boundaries. They would happily fuck their 60 year old rich CEO Boss and destroy their family and marriage. I’ve seen this first hand. Their kids can also be horrendously rude. Men need to have respect for themselves and realise no women is worth that kid of abuse. They will happily dance provocatively with ex boyfriends I’m front of their partner while they secretly DM every male they know on social media and messaging apps. Just look at them on TikTok prostituting themselves to the world. These are married women or in long term relationships yet you Barry see them with their partner because they want to show they are available for the right price. Don’t get me wrong many are wonderful but many are cold, loveless opportunistic vultures.

He was set to come back to BGC but has to stay since he needs to get a moving truck to pick up the washer and deliver it to the residence. They got him big time. This is why I don't trust people here and have years of street smarts combined with my military service to not fall into that trap. In my 10 months not one person has tried that BS on me and I dare someone to. He will most likely be set back hundreds of dollars and who know if they will drain his pockets and he gets stuck here temporarily. my wife is now working in canada and im telling you in her first six months, fellow filipinos are worst to be with and the ones who dragging her down to the lowest. taking advantages to bully bout her appearance, insulting and making fun of her food, degrade and mentally abuse her as if they found the joy to see someone suffering. Also using emotional black mails like repeatedly rubbing on her face the words "utang na loob" means you owe a lot from them. All these years of those scumbags living in the west, they became much more arrogant and they've gone worse too. Another toxic traits they carried in their baggages are the massive jelousy and crab mentality behavior when they feel like others are better than them.

Hi steele. I've also sponsored my wife in Canada. Before I went there I was very naive about the Filipino culture. I thought they're exactly like us in North America. I was dead wrong. Before she arrives here, I told her there's a Filipino church not far from where I live so she can go there and meet people from her country. She angrily stared at me. When I insisted she got upset. I did not understand why, but now I do. Here's an example that just popped in my mind: About 4 months ago, she was in a nursing internship program at St-Mary's hospital. There was only ONE Filipino guy working there as a caregiver. My wife told me about him. Dude was the typical evil and insecure Filipino! He was always trying to make my wife resigning telling her it's a bad job she's doing, he tried to scam her asking her money saying he works for an investment company, he's super rich and has a $7000 Husky dog, has a bunch of kids with different women but it's ok since he's rich, and all that stuff. My wife told me that other employees can't stand that guy. He only acts like this with other Filipinos because most are gullible. He knows that if he acts like this with white people, they will make fun of him.

Agree 100 percent. My sister experienced it a few times while shopping at the base stores in Okinawa bc she looks like a Filipina even though she's half Japanese. They are more prone to bullying their own fellowman especially if they can sense that the person is not as self-assured or self-assertive. I encountered a few in nursing school and more at my nursing job. ( Don't get me wrong. There were nice ones, too.) They project their lack of self-confidence onto others that they can bully. My Peruvian best classmate who was overweight was constantly bullied and I reprimanded that Filipina. After several months of non-contact, that Filipina called me on the phone just to ask if my friend already took the board exam and if she passed. She didn't ask about me! lol They get competitive for no reason and they always compare themselves to others bc they are jealous, sick people. It makes them feel good to ruin anybody who is better than them. My ex-husband's brother was an accomplished doctor in Summerlin, Las Vegas. He fell in love with a successful financial officer who was Italian. The Filipino community in Vegas trashed and bullied her relentlessly and ruined her reputation bc they insisted that he should marry another Filipina. My ex-SIL resorted to closing her business bc of all the bullying and she is now managing her husband's dermatology clinic in Summerlin. Oh, there are a lot more horror stories fr different countries all fr envious Filipinos/Filipinas!

As a Native American, I have little tolerance for the poorly educated who can't even define what I am. Which has been my experience with people from the Philippines. I'm certain they wouldn't appreciate it if I went to the Philippines and couldn't distinguish their culture from the Chinese, right? Well that's how I feel when people come to America and don't know about Natives.

I am Swiss with a Filipino mother. When I visited the Philippines, I would hear "Americano" everywhere and these people think that I can't understand them, so they start to openly gossip about me thinking that they are "safe". Apparently, gossiping is a deep part of their culture called Maritess or Tsimsis or whatever. I mean how broken do you need to be that you think this is ok? And it is everywhere. This compulsive need for gossip and fake smiles to cover up your gossip. Whether it's in the Philippines or the Filipino Community in Switzerland, there is no peace or any motivation to treat each other in a more healthy way. So of course, these people are going to be racists. They are even racist towards other nationalities here in Switzerland and have this kind of Filipino superiority that I detest while having no regards for our rules like video calls on public transport while everybody else just wants to rest or work on their laptops (lots of business people choose public transport here to put in more work), doing picnics in public places and just sit in other people's private gardens and terraces instead because it looks like what they have seen in a movie and makes them feel like it's a theme park and so on. Most Swiss people are very reserved and polite, so it takes a lot to speak up. But if they do, Filipinos will play victims and say that they are surrounded by racists. Our Catholic church provides special Filipino priests just for the Filipino community because we want them to feel welcome and taken care of. But what has happened is that they gossip about Swiss masses (Filipino superiority again) while thinking that they are one of the best Christians in the world. Instead of using it as a vehicle to integrate better, they have just created a toxic Filipino bubble. Swiss Christians were unbelievably upset when it came out that the church worldwide abused tens of thousands of children, also in Switzerland (more than a thousand here) and also in the Philippines. Swiss people left the church or at leadt put the church under tremendous pressure. Filipinos? They don't care, they just hide it, they don't mention it and therefore, it doesn't exist. Abuse in the family? Filipinos will simply do nothing, protect the abuser and use that abuse as fuel for more gossip. Abuse victim suffers mental health problems? Great, fuel for more gossip with an added portion of harsh judgement (superiority again)! A second generation Filipina finds a boyfriend from Italy, Portugal or, God forbid, a Balkan state, again more judgement and fuel for gossip. Why would she choose a poor partner and not a Swiss? blabla Love is non-existent, they are opportunistic. But strangely, they have an obsession with romantic songs or movies. Just recently, I had to explain to a Filipina that she could go for jail for what she did. A bicyclist had an accident and instead of helping, she and her friends just watched the entire thing unfold as if it was a TV show. She told us this story while giggling and laughing. When I explained to them that Swiss people despise this utter disregard for human lives and that withholding help can be punished with up to two years in jail, the giggling stopped. One of them said that this is apparently normal in the Philippines because if somebody is in bad shape, why should you suffer as well? Why not just turn the situation around and see it as personal entertainment? When I heard that, I felt physically sick. What a disgusting way of life. I am lucky to be born in Switzerland and have been blessed with my Swiss grandparents and older generation neighbours, parents of my friends and teachers who taught me Swiss values, respect, the preservation of human dignity and brotherhood. When Switzerland was founded in 1291, apparently, the founders said: We want to be a united people of brothers. It is in our blood to have our backs. Every able Swiss men needs to serve in the military. What do you learn? Brotherhood. Corruption? Non-existent. You don't betray your brothers. It is everywhere. That's why it's so utterly disturbing to see how backstabby, racist and toxic the Filipinos are. Considering the wealth that Swiss people accrued over time through honest work, safety and stability while suffering from hunger, the Swiss were rewarded. Considering that the Philippines are a poor third-world country that can never stop sliding from one scandal to the next, they are also rewarded foe their behaviour. Filipinos, as much as they claim to be good Christians, have obviously never read the Bible. I am an Atheist, but it fits quite well here. You reap what you sow. My Swiss relatives taught me that showing even small disorderly conduct like cutting in line and stuff like that will eventually lead to the downfall of our direct democracy and our country since others will learn from my behaviour, imitate it and end up in a downward spiral because there is always somebody who can set the bar even lower. Filipinos need to learn that their behaviours make them poor and that they are the opposite of exceptional. And they need to learn that they are not the main character of a game, they are just one person in wider community and rules are enforced so that we all can enjoy better lives. This is why investors bring their money to Switzerland even though it's very expensive here rather than investing in the Philippines even though it's very cheap over there. While Filipinos will backstab, a Swiss will not betray their brother.

@@LeTangKichiro Im filipino and although i agree with a lot of the things youve said, idk about the others. Yes were racists, i mean im racist too so i wont even deny that or change that about myself, we filipinos tend to live in reality and not in an idealized world. I do think though that its admirable you value honor and brotherhood, which i dont know if its common here in PH. But honor is very important, i dont want to talk bad about my people coming from my mouth because its dishonorable to me, so i prefer to hear other nationalities talk bad about filipinos and ph. Sadly, most people online and foreigners just praise filipinos and idk why. I notice that we get sensitive before when peope talk bad about us, but i noticed recently we dont mind anymore, idk what happened. Yes we filipinos cut in line, its a very weird culture, i personally dont do it, but here in ph, its not an established thing, its more of an instinct that whoever goes first to the counter gets served, whatever the line is. So if you follow a high society protocol like lines here in ph, youll just stand there looking like a good while others go ahead of you. So you just go for it too. I know, very barbaric. But it is what it is. Idk what else to tell you. I like that swiss has very honorable conduct though. Honor and dignity is the most important qualities to have in a human being. Youre right about many things.
