I am a fan of phoibos, I was gifted a leviathan a couple of years ago, fantastic quality and they are happily plodding along doing there own thing, another plus the logo is superb, makes me smile every time I see it....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

I have this exact watch. Put it on an Islander bracelet. Always get compliments, and when I brought it to a jeweler to replace the battery, he just said "Wow, this is a really nice-looking watch!"

@@MyAffordableWatchCollection I started a review channel to try to separate the watchmaking restorations and reviews. It’s called My Watch Reviews. Phoibos want subscribers rather than potential views. So 6k is minimum they will let me review on the main channel but not the other so I told them I can’t work with them until the review channel gets big enough which could be a problem as growth over there is very slow.

I got the non-GMT Automatic Eagle Ray in the burnt orange dial on the bracelet at the introductory pricing. On my wrist now - I love it. Like you i had always wanted a Phoibos and i am VERY glad that i pulled the trigger.

Great review man👌🏻! The extra information you give is what I miss with most reviewers. Going by my personal experience- I purchased a Phoibos wavemaster abalone dial a few years back. Amazing dial, serious workmanship and finishing and built quality. Terrific bezel. I replaced the band🤷🏼‍♂️. It was so good and unusual- I purchased another as a gift for my younger sisters husband, after their first son was born.

I never paid much attention to this brand, because somehow, I was under the impression that they are in the 700 to 800 dollar range. But at €260.00, they seem to be perfectly priced. Great review Aviv, precise, entertaining and to the point 🙂 . Cheers !!! Life is Good ! 🤙🤙 🤙 .

I agree with you that this watch would look better at 39 millimeters, but it still is very good looking. White dial looks best IMO. Beautiful photography as always my man!

I love your videos! Great looking watch but I had bad customer experience just trying to locate the watch after paying. Unworn, I asked to return. Their rules encourage you to NOT return - watch subject to a $50-200 “Reboxing fee”. That’s after the customer is responsible for shipping fees. I took my chance on eBay to limit my losses. Still took a $40 hit after fees, but was looking at a minimum of $60-70 just to return unworn.

why dont these youtubers get that when they get a product for free, we’re not worried you will intentionally make a biased review, the worry is you are subconsciously influenced, subconsciously endeared to the brand, subconsciously unable to judge value vs cost. so you dont need to bother assuring us you won’t let the free product influence your review, it’s irrelevant what your conscious intention is. i’m not saying you shouldn’t accept free products, just don’t bother saying it doesn’t influence the review because that’s out of your control.

100% agree! All do it and like you inferred, they probably mean it. However, it's a conflict of interest and poses a potential for at least unconscious bias, since speaking positively about a free watch means you're likely to get another one in the future. That said, I still watch and appreciate the reviews, and without the free watches from the companies, there would be way less reviews of them on YT and other websites.
