I personally like the VLOGS. Long time hearing aid user and the information you share a lot of times helps me understand how to work with my hearing care professional a whole lot better. No matter what you do an excellent job of promoting and improving your profession and I for one appreciate it.

Dr Cliff you put out tons of new content all of the time so much so that I have a hard time keeping track. I have had hearing loss for quite a number of years and because of your channel/vlogs/shorts (not sure of the difference) I feel that I finally understand what I should be looking for in a Dr. Your hearing up network also provides options of Dr s in my area that I know will be proceeding in following best practices. I enjoy many of your product reviews and think you should continue those but keep them focused to the one or two products you’re reviewing. The questions you talked about in your vlog today all had the same answer… it depends… which is true. IMO that sounds like a lot of wasted time creating content and confirms my thought that you’re content should be focused on what best practices are and who is using them and what are the newest products coming out as well as reviewing what is currently available. I would rather spend 20 minutes once every couple of weeks on great content than 5-11 minutes every day on continuous content.

General comment: really don’t care about other people’s hearing issues! Mine are important to me but not the others. Questions are very specific to their loss but not mine! You have answered a question for me in the past and I appreciate that very much! I have been looking for new hearing aids. Your videos provided a wealth of information. Thank you for vlog. While I find the vlogs informative and entertaining, I think that it depends where you are in your treatment journey. If you are just starting using hearing aids, finding information about features, anatomy/ physiology and vocabulary/definitions are key factors and I find that very important. it’s important to have current research and development discussions on topics that are less structured but still relevant. I think we are trying to compare apples and oranges. Both formats and information are essential. It kinda muddies the waters for me. I do have other issues that color my decisions. I vote for checking the number of views for a six month period and see which are getting the most milage as far as which format you keep or emphasize. I’m sure you also have time and cost restraints. Both have their pros and cons. Base your decision on what is best for you and your audience. How are you best reaching your audience? Personal experiences are important as it colors your decision. I will watch both regardless.

I like your videos!!!! I find they have been instrumental in assessing what I want my hearing aid to deliver, what features are available, why a certain hearing aide may or may not work for me, etc. I will be sad to see you go.

Thank You so very much for your blogs! I'm learning alot from watching! Prior to ,I new nothing about Real Ear Measurement and Word Recognition Scores. None of the audiologists I've gone to have used these technologies. I'm currently trying to find an audiologist in Minnesota I can drive to that uses these. So far, the only one I've found is Starkey in Eden Prairie, MN., which is just under four hours away - which I'm more than willing to do in order to get it right.

Hey Dr. Cliff, I personally enjoyed watching your Vlog videos tbh. I rmb you started the Vlog videos as a “Behind the scene” where you share about your personal experiences such as your successes, challenges and everything as an Audiologist and your real self. Vlog videos really, is where we get to watch you dress informally and talk “as yourself” without having to do “Professional Talking”. Just my 2 cents worth. ☺️

Dr. Cliff, I am getting a bit worried. It seems that you are spreading yourself very thin. We started with a dedicated audiologist who also offered videos to help others. Now we have TWO video stars that spend too much time and money on so many projects that we have trouble keeping up. I'm sure that the wife would agree. PLEASE do not ever let this go so far that we hear the following intro: "Hi, I'm Dr. Cliff. I'm a single video star who used to be a practicing audiologist. And I used to be married." Don't let this video stuff consume you. I wouldn't say this if I didn't care.
