I put this in a couple of bullet points but because I forgot to say it: If your goal is to work out in these, they're not ideal. Cotton, for all its breathability, doesn't wick moisture as well as polyester so they'll be sweat-wet for longer - and they take forever to dry on the clothesline too!

I spent about 1.5k last year as a gift to my mom and my sis and they love it , prior to that I’ve owned about 15 more pieces . It’s worth buying RC . My first sweater still hanging well and that was 10 years ago when I bought it 👌🏾 Also I like to support local labores as well as I worked with some these people here in LA and I’ve seen how much work they put into these brands

Hi Nick, I had major issues with durability with Reigning Champ. I purchased one of their midweight terry hoodies during quarantine and after normal indoor wear over less than 6 months there were holes on both elbows. Not recommended.

They have downgraded their quality just a bit . Their middleweight feels more like a lightweight.

bravestar makes some great hoodies. i have one of their terry cloth indigo dyed ones and their normal heavyweight ones. theyre both pretty phenomenal and relatively affordable. i prefer the heavyweight one if i had to only have one though. as for that desert rose... i think its too close to your skin tone. makes you look a little... nekkid. or like a big gigantic... you know. hey, just being honest.

Great review. Reigning Champ is being acquired, or has been acquired, by Aritzia (female mall retail store based in Canada). Hopefully the quality and Made in Canada production stays. Good for the owner/founder. Believe he sold for $60M+.

IMHO, Brave Star makes the best hoodies. I own hoodies from Flint & Tinder, American Giant, Carhartt and of course, a couple from Gap and Abercrombie. The hoodie from Brave Star beats all of them.

Yeah the color selection is great. I prefer American Giant in that their heavy hoodie has a slimmer fit and padded elbows. I think I prefer the midweight one from Reigning Champ though

I wish they would make more clothing for real athletic people. Even sweatpants are way to slim for people who are even squatting a little. Let alone squat a lot. And when there are pants available you only see them in the US or Canada, by in Europe not available. I rip out a pair of jeans every couple of months for 25 years now... So if someone in the comment section actually know a pair a pants or jeans that are made for people who actually workout, please let me know... It is appreciated. :)

have you even looked into RC? They have sizes that go up to XXL and have many "relaxed" fit. Ive seen professional athletes wear and recommend reigning champ. RC also has polartec options that are even more incredibly stretchy. I own more than 3k or so in RC hoodies, pants, and other items. I have completely thrown out everything else beyond my dress clothes. Their stuff is top notch.
