Lol @ the prices for those things, I have had cheaper sneakers that looked fine and were comfortable. I just use a heat gun to hot glue rubber car mats cut down to size when the soles start to wear out. And I don't even buy those, I just pick them up when people replace them.

Hair dryer will work, but it will take a bit longer. Just put it on it’s highest/hottest setting.

Anyone try to raise the sole protectors up on the sides to keep the icy soles from turning yellow? Heard they might wreck the heel above the outsole when removing them.

I see it as useful for only the shoes with the soles that yellow out like 5s,6s,11s and others.
