Is this a joke? Hayes is a Leafs fan yes, but if you've listened to him for more than 30 seconds you'd know he can be harder on them than anyone and will never pull punches. Like most Leafs fans really. I always get a chuckle out of the leafs delusion comments - like have you ever talked to a real hardcore leafs fan? We're all jaded, we're all scarred and very pessimistic. Would you have liked Hayes to say "yes there are bad vibes" to satisfy your homer concerns?

Don’t agree with your opinion that Robertson wouldn’t be used on the PP or late game extra man. That’s when you need a sniper - not a defensive specialist. He may not be there every time, but he’d be a hell of a good option. They need to help him work on his D skills unless he simply wants out, in which case, move him like a bad apple before he rots the whole barrel.

No I disagree man....leafs have too much competition at wing. There short up the middle and if they dont fill this position no way they will make much playoff noise. Makes alot of sense to try Nylander at Center. Guy can play that position. ONLY IF IT DOES NOT DOWN GRADE HIM. Less production. I dont see him as a centerman at pro level. ...but hey who knows. If it doesn't work they need to make a big move. Trade Marner for a more playoff producing player. I don't like Marner at all anymore. I think he's holding the team back. Not only issue though.

Robertson is a sniper it would be ridiculous to let him go. There are tons of stars that just score goals. And he has been great off the puck as well, berube has said it over and over. Huge mistake to let robertson go. We’re talking Zack Hyman 2.0 and for who Max P ? Hes winded after half the game and very much a liability. And haze isn’t talking to the right fans. they all don’t reside outside the tsn studio they are everywhere and robertson has tons of support. What more do you want from him? Hes the only one scoring goals and winning games. And his goals have come when the leafs had a AHL/junior line up against a stacked Montreal team and robertson won the game. It’s like a myth that he’s bad away from the puck. Only the godamn media say that because Craig has been saying the exact opposite. The kid deserves it stop messing with his career

Dubas and Keefe rolled out Nylander 3 years in a row as center at times. Nylander whom is a joke at defence had a breakout season on a contract year of course.
