Even if she reached puberty, it's still rape. I reached puberty at 14. I didn't become ready to have sex magically overnight, just because my period started. I found it difficult to come to terms with the fact that I started menstruating, even though I grew up among supportive females. I still wanted to play, I was still very much a child. I'm in my 40s now and I still remember that first period of mine. I can't imagine how damaging it would have been if a man forced himself on me at that age. I don't think the Bible states her age at any point, it's a matter of speculation (mainly by Muslims who are desperate to find an argument supporting underage marriage). Whatever her age was though, it's in no way an instruction for Christians, since Christians are obliged to follow the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, and interpret the rest of the Bible in the light of those teachings. If there's any contradiction within the Bible, Christians must choose what the Gospel says. Also not everything that anyone has done in the Bible is an example for Christians to follow, the Bible describes humans who are imperfect. None of the humans described in the Bible, apart from Jesus, is perfect, and all of them, apart from Jesus, are sinners, and their actions must be assessed as right or wrong in the light of the teachings of Jesus.

The claim that Aisha mestruated just a moment before sex is preposterous, because Surah 2 ayah 222, strictly forbids having sex with a menstruating woman. Whether or not the ayah was revealed before this monstrous act is not relevant, because the Sunnah of the Prophet is understood to reflect the entirety of the Qur'an. The "age of reason" argument is not valid, because it means that a very personal story about the start of the highly-revered Aisha's periods was leaked to men, who then spread this information to future generations and even shared it to Al-Bukhari. This sort of lack of respect and gross inelegance was not something that these men would have done. Hence, it is unclear AT BEST if the hadith means reaching puberty. All Muslim men who come from Middle East know that even hinting about the start of a woman's menstruation is very offensive, especially if you write that in a book. It would have been amazingly uncharacteristic for Al-Bukhaari and for the men in the isnad to commit such an act. They obviously spoke about her being able to recall. Anyone who dares to say that Al-Bukhaari, the men in the isna, and Asma bint Abi Bakr spoke so freely about the start of Aisha's periods, is effectively calling them bad Muslims.

That translation is wrong in two places. In Arabic it says seven. It doesn't say "or six". The second mistranslation seems deliberately deceptive. "Abu Dawood" did not say "menstruated", he said "breathed", implying a labored audible breathing. Prior to that Aisha made the sounds "heya heya" that would indicate labored breathing in context, not laughter. These people are shameless! But all they care about is making converts and sanitizing their false religion. I wonder why somebody who knows they're lying to coverup the ugly truth about their prophet doesn't also conclude that if the man was such a piece of human garbage why am I defending him or lying for him? According to Tabari, all four daughters of Abu Bakr, including Aisha, were born before the revelation of Islam in 610AD. The marriage of Aisha to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ took place one year after the migration around 624AD. Ill address the aisha controversy. 1. Most ppl think that marriage before legal adulthood is wrong today. However it was common in the past. It was common in Europe. The age of consent was as low as 7 yrs old in the USA at one point. 2 there's plenty of reasons why Aisha may have misrepresented her real age. Women always like to lie and say they are younger. By mentioning she was extra young when she was married, that made her younger when she wrote it. 3rd. Also record keeping of births wasn't done. So ppl would usually guess their age back then. 4th. There is no reasonable parent that would let their daughter be abused. All parents since beginning of humans married there daughters after puberty in all cultures around the world. No reason to think abu-bakr was any different. 5th. Aisha was already engaged to someone else before muhammad. What parent would engage their child before six? Doesn't seem likely.
