I honestly think that this is one of those things where you see what you want to see. Ever stared at the tiles in a bathroom and started seeing figures and shapes that would otherwise not be there if you didn't use your imagination?! Well, that's kind of the thing here too...

My order arrived a few days ago, and I still haven't removed her from brown revelations box. I'm too busy looking at KZbin reviews on her as I decide: A. Open and place on the shelf with my other plastic thicc-bricc waifus? B. Leave her unopened in the brown box and chuck it in the closet, with the rest of my impulse buys lol

As for the tack on the feet. Again just seems a non-issue. The figure doesn't appear to have anything that would make her fall over (no heavy back pack, no weight weapons) and if she does, so what? That's what stands are for where a flight stand to have her hover (like some people have already said they want to display her doing anyways), or a simple flat NECA stand to plug her feet on. I use those for many figures even if they don't have issues standing, sometimes I use them to pose them on one foot. It could just be they did that here to keep her in position for that particular photo for some reason, it's the only one with the card display behind her. Who knows what they required it for when shooting that photo. I feel like people just want to be real picky for some reason. This figure looks fantastic and I can't wait for her to arrive.

What about what she's wearing under her soft-goods loin cloth?! I'm more interested in knowing if her shoulder paldrons are removable or fixed to be honest.

IInteresting video, Aj! You're right about all the issues with these figures. I think there are a lot of changes from the time the images are shown and what we get from the factory because of last-minute changes to save money, QC issues, and just trying to push these products out to fast! Some Masterverse figures are unbelievable with the details and accessories they come with! Others are like they got lazy and didn't want to get involved in heavy with a certain part like the sorceress with the cape. I understand why they went with that route, and it's not the worst thing. But they could have just used a material with printed feathers, for example, instead of the plain cape material. That would have looked so much better. As far as Dark lyn. I guess I will have to see once we get her in hand about those changes or issues.

Indeed! We won't know until we have her in hand if there will be standing issues or she was meant to levitate / should have come with a kaiser stand. But out of all the Masterverse figures that have come out, these two advanced concerns are definitely the most unique and intriguing I've seen to date. The eagle eyes out there! Expect the unexpected I guess! 😀 Always great to see you buddy!

@For Eternia Official Well said! I didn't even notice or honestly pay my mind to those concerns. Yeah, I think every action figure should come with some kind of figure kaiser stand. I buy those for all my figures. Good hearing from you, too, buddy 👍

@@Themanchlid Every? Seems like that would increase the cost and most figures don't even need them. I didn't even use most of the ones that came with DC Collectables Batman the Animated Series. I use stands with some figures but only those that absolutely need them or if I want to display them in a post that would be impossible to be stable.

@Carn Well, maybe those arclic kaiser stands that articulate. I see some Neca and Mcfarlane come with those sometimes. They are great to pose figures in all different ways. I use Metal kaiser stands personally. I would not expect the figures to come with those. They are very expensive.

It's not really parenting though. It's just being an idiot and seeing things that ain't there. Filmation was for kids and has huge phallic shaped structures on Orko's home world of Trolla that may as well make it called "the land of the giant multi-coloured dildos". :P

Also Revelation has blood, some swears, and Lyn being very sexual and seducing Skeletor to trick him into depowering so she can get the sword. It's not aimed at kids. The CGI show was. Kids can watch Revelation and enjoy it for sure (my friend's 10 yr old absolutely loves it) but a 'concerned parent' getting all upset about a figure from it potentially having an outline of a dick just seems like an extreme reach.

@@carn9507When I was young I was allowed to watch all sorts of inappropriate debauchery. Revelation is tame in comparison and I could have used some more parenting in retrospect. Judging this situation depends on the level of parent reaction. Are they picketing Mattel or just saying if this is intentional it is uncool?

@@strongone7616 Yes, I watched the likes of Alien, Terminator, RoboCop and other things were supposed to be for adults (yet even had toylines and cartoons aimed at kids. I had toys of RoboCop and a Terminator). That doesn't change anything of what I said. Like those, Revelation is still not aimed at kids even if it's not as graphic at those. The Masterverse line is also not aimed at kids. Again kids can have these and enjoy them but that doesn't change the fact they are not made for kids. The CGI show and it's toyline are aimed at kids. Revelation/Masterverse are aimed at teens and older. This 'concerned parent' sounds like they freak out about anything if they genuinely think a vague 'penis shape' on something that clearly ain't a penis is something to get worked up by. This figure isn't meant for kids even if the penis shape on the art there was intentional. If this kind of thing upsets them then I don't know how the heck they cope with day to day life because there is WAY worse out there even in toys, even in Disney stuff...

While I get the concern with the sticky tac being used for the figure to stand and ill definalty have mine on a flight stand for posability the second one is just reaching a little. This concerned parent is wanting to see this as a thing, ive heard others laugh at it and I doubt this is in any way intentional but I never saw it until it was pointed out. Be concerned with bigger things, the packaging, why is there no sword of power, why no flight stand with this being plasticless and a deluxe priced figure. this "falic design" is just complaing to complain and sorry im just not seeing it as a concern. Pick your battles better people, just my opinion.

The conception of REVELATIONS is so damn wrong since first episode. Giving excessive credit to Teela in the first episodes and then to Evil Lynn in the last ones does not make any sense. Another bad twist or move was how bad Fisto and Clamp Champ were poorly developed! Last episode was pure fan service (watching another masters without any dialogue with the exception of Ram Man). We DIDNT wanted Andra with a wrong or accurate ethnicity. We really didn't care about her cuz she wasn't part of MOTU Filmation Era. At this point MOTU 200X is beyond better than Kevin Smith & partners which any of them are MOTU lovers and collectors.

Unfortunately, from my experience with this figure, she doesn't have any issues standing up. But the good news is that she hasn't sold out, so MOTUR did effect Mattel's ability to sell all their stock of her.

I think they’re reaching for this concern with the artwork. The concerned parent needs to grow up and stop trying to cancel MOTU. This show is NOT meant for kids.

Yeah. And the Revelation show this Lyn is from is aimed at older fans also. Kids can enjoy it and many do but it does contain some blood, swearing, sexual behaviour (mostly all from Lyn herself :P ) so I wonder what this 'concerned parent' is really upset about if they're reaching with this 'dick shape'

@@BrickIntyre I see what is being claimed to be dick shaped but... it's not really... it's just stupid. There are way more phallic things in MotU. As I stated above Orko's home Trolla as depicted in the Filmation show has extremely questionable looking objects there.
