I was doing your build and got elite recruiter and scheme guru, which I liked better I wasn’t sure how well master motivator would work but ig this confirmed it 😅. I had a 4 star gem route runner he got drafted at 90 overall for me

I liked your master motivator test, but I have a few things I’d like to try based on what I saw. So I like the Architect build, level 2 on everyone (except k/p), I can get star & elite growth players with a lot of skill caps, and I have seen those skill same skill caps get completely opened on one or two traits. But I have to go check the player cards pretty regularly to track the level up progress. That’s the thing that I might try and do different. I’ll try to build a coach similar to Jugg4, but before putting all the points into master motivator, I’ll make a hard save without it. Then pick one player to follow of each dev trait, and track their growth for a season. Needs to be a QB, RB, or WR though. Something i can influence directly. Then run the same test with master motivator with the same players. The other thing to notice is the abilities, they might be leveling up and putting points into abilities and not stats. Great video! @@ATC8705 so I did the test with architect, went to season 30 and my team never developed into a 99. 97 was my max. I didn’t track the abilities. Maybe they were added and that definitely making playing with that player more enjoyable. I can say confidently master motivator is a waste of points and time. Thank you so much for watching

@@Himicane yeah, definitely liked the video! I’ve been watching the series of these come out and they are fantastic. And I think that’s where it gets interesting for me. Depending on if there is even the slightest bit of boost from the master motivator, combined with architect, then (in theory) the more a player levels the higher chance they remove a skill cap. I have had a 99, but I also lean into Tactician for my build, so not a true 99. There is also another phenomenon that has been a bit strange. I think lots of people have commented on this already, but moving a player during the position changes will reset their Physical abilities if they already have the stats for that ability. It gets weird, cause I think (it just happened to me so I need to do more research) it reverts other stats to pay for the upgrades. But, if it’s done to a player in the Sr or Jr year, they go from like an 80 to like a 90. I had a blocking TE going into his Sr year, that I moved to FB, then back to TE. He had all the abilities that he had the stats for, then the offseason, almost all of his points went into his stats instead of abilities.

So I finally got a single player at a full 99 overall. My coach was built in a very similar way. HC - recruiter all positions except p/k up to level 3 - elite recruiter all positions except p/k up to level 1 - Motivator OL, DL, LB, DB up to level 3 - tactician QB, OL, DL, LB, DB up to level 4 RB up to level 2 - Architect all positions except p/k up to level 2 - scheme guru pass defense, run defense, tempo defense level 2 - Program builder pipeline boost level 3 and primary pipeline boost level 1 OC Master Motivator everything unlocked I had just taken over as the HC @ Arkansas, year 8, I user’d the previous coach like you did, but I built up a decent recruiting class so I wasn’t starting behind the curve. There was a JR RB already on the team that was the starter, but when I took over as the HC he was going into his senior year. I moved him to FB then back to RB all his abilities shot up a rank or two, and his stats stayed the same. He was a 87 overall as a JR. after the offseason training he was a 99 overall not including the buffs from tactician. Master motivator is probably not worth it to have on your HC, but Architect is, especially when paired with a Coordinator with Master Motivator. I have only got 2 games into that season (since this is where I wanted to start from), but I can send an update with some other players after a season or two.

I did this and it worked well. Only issue i have is it takes 10 seasons or so to set up, which is significant when you consider you only get 30 seasons as a coach/ save file

Motivator is great! Get tier 3 on all the positions. Great expenditure of point. MM didn’t really do anything valuable

Do you have any method for getting elite recruiters on your staff? I can NEVER seem to get one and I thought about just creating multiple coaches, make them master, and then try to get them to leave but not sure how to accomplish them leaving and coming to my school. I hire mostly recruiters and they never purchase master recruiter. I sign top 5 class every season but they build out Motivator and Tactician before they purchase Elite Recruiter. It’s so annoying.

Before the start of the season check the other teams' head coaches (under coach stats) for whatever archetype you want (Elite Recruiter, Architect, etc.). Then take note of them all and schedule them to lose their games. It's tedious, but the more teams (with the target archetype) you schedule to lose the higher the chances you may see that archetype later on. Then hard save and label it something you remember (Important if you want to reroll the offered coaches). Sim the season to the bowl weeks (Job Offer weeks) and see if any of the coaches are there. I believe the later bowl weeks have a higher chance of showing better coaches. If you don't find the coach you want go back to your save point and sim again to the bowl weeks. Repeat until you get the coaches you want.

I thought you just had control over your coach. I’m guessing you find the one u want, create new member and just take control of the head coach to tank the season?

@@calebhowell5845 Haha yeah I like min-maxing so I always end up doing the tedious stuff to get the perfect setup. If you go under team schedule and look at a match up if you hit A on Xbox or X on PS (it should be labeled actions in the game) it will let you choose "Force Home Win " (vs) or "Force Away Win" (at). You have to force their opponent to win for every game on their schedule. Losing all their games will usually make the CPU fire their head coach so they enter the Coordinator pool. You can usually tell because the fired head coaches show up as higher level (30 - 40) in your coordinator pool. If you don't hit any go back to your save and re-sim the season. I usually do this after I get the 2 Top-5 draft classes so I can just auto-recruit the season. Also if you ever want to reroll your "Convince Player to stay" chances make a hard save BEFORE you attempt to convince the first player. Once you make an attempt on the first player it hard locks the choices for ALL players you are trying to convince.

Love these types of videos running tests on this stuff. Question about the scheme guru build.. did your coordinators both have that unlocked as well (the ground and pound offense)? Or just the head coach? If I can only get it on a head coach in an online dynasty, is it still worth it is my question

I'm not sure that you are aware, but when you make a new character, just take over the HC at LSU and the OC at UGA... You don't need to make a new one... Then, set both profiles to auto recruit and auto progression... Set both schools up with FWs, and when you're ready, you can OC hop to UGA and any other school you send the dummy OC too then once you're ready to go to LSU... Make that Coach get a new job...

@@douglascarey9053 when you’re a head coach and you buy program builder and CEO you get refunded the points you spent on those archetypes and the points you spent on those abilities, because coordinators can’t have CEO or program builder. So you essentially can reset that spend and invest in things that you want

Master Motivator is not a scam my guy, the experiment you did was poorly done. For starters you didn’t look or pay attention to dev traits. Obviously players with elite dev will develop faster than normal or star players. Secondly, you didn’t check or even attempt to see players skill caps. Skill caps are random, so you can be either screwed or rewarded randomly. Some players will have a few skill caps and others will have a ton. Third, you can’t control what your players use their skill points on. Some players AI will buy gold and platinum abilities and be a 85 ovr and other players will be a 95+ with silver abilities. It’s all random, so you shouldn’t say “this perk is useless” when the experiment you did was just buying the perks and simming 3-4 years 🤣. Out of the three base skill trees motivator is by far the best and it’s 100% necessary if you want a high over team.

@@beastlyword0690 i simmed it for 14-15 years. Never once came close to a 99 overall. Motivator tier 3 is the best thing by far. But master motivator didn’t develop players any faster in my experiment. Other abilities did much better at player development
