I just got my Slime today. It's growing on me but it does have it's issues. The 'binding' is rough on the body horns, overspray of some sort. And the fretboard I'm sure is not real wood, but a composite of some kind like they use to simulate wood decking. Body is smaller than my real Dean and Washburn but I don't mind that. The trem, although is just stamped with FR is surprisingly good. Mine stays in tune well and the intonation on this guitar shocked me too. Had to fix the bow on the neck, new strings and now it rips pretty good. As long as people remember it's a 300 dollar guitar they'll not be disappointed.

Right on! Some have thought these should rival a $3500 USA guitar lol, judging by their comments on other videos. These are a beast of a guitar for someone of a budget of $500 or less. They puch way above their price. Mine had no issues with the binding. The fretboard is real, they just polish it along with the frets on a buffing wheel. That's what makes it look so smooth and shiny like it isn't real

These run about between $3-$500 depending where you get them. I've bought 5 of them in different colors to try, and they've all been consistently great. So, Firefly aren't hit or miss. They hit 99% of the time. Even if you had to pay close to the $500 mark, you're still getting your money's worth really. These are made extremely well. And the fret work on these are almost always level. I had one, that had a high fret, I tapped it with a fretting hammer, and it setted back down perfect

It pisses me off, because they don’t deliver in Canada . Man that and the bucket inspired baritone. It looks beautiful 💯. What I would do is sand the headstock and spray it with my own design . Like the CFH, in barbed wire ❤❤❤❤

Amazing Firefly can get them so close. Usually, the headstock is altered but that looks like a clone. The only thing I think they should do is add the razorblade inlay on the 12th fret. As for song to cover 5 minutes alone or I'm Broken. I love Revolution is my Name as well.

My suggestion is to change out the trem bridge it's kinda hard to copy a Floyd Rose if it's not a real Floyd Rose it's just not really that great not saying that they are terrible or nothing but it's pretty hard to copy something that is as good of quality as the real thing. I can usually tell within the first day of playing if it's real one or fake one. It's a beautiful guitar that's for sure.

These are great guitars! I've had several of these that have the same trem, they've all been great. You just can't over tighten anything. I think the weakest link on these seems to be the nut. I've seen others say, the lock screws aren't long enough, and will strip out if you aren't careful. They have switch those out to a musiclily nut from amazon and have had good results

​@@DeweyJHall1Yeah that's right the key is to never over tighten anything. Just tighten up enough to get a strong grip on the string where it can't move. About twenty pounds of pressure is plenty tight enough. Something that always gave me problems was the term arm developed play in the arm and I don't really care for that. Usually Floyd Rose 1000 and Floyd original don't have that problem. But the cheaper ones do. But anyway that's my opinion.

I'm trying to get the crowd who thinks this, or who's maybe unsure about the brand, to watch the video. If people watch any of my FF videos, they know I've pretty much got nothing but good things to say. People tend to click on a negative title more than a positive one, sadly. I've tried both ways

@ to be fair at least a couple did come in bad shape, one had shipping damage and the other had bad frets. So, in reality the title isn't misleading.
