On the subject of lights I have 500 w total, a 300 in one and two 100 w in the other. Much more power would be hard to regulate not to mention keeping three cats from ripping my tents to shreds. I think my main point is to grow our own way with the space and resources we have access to. Find a routine that meets our own needs and grow style and we’re good to go. When a person feels like they know their stuff and just grow it’s very rewarding. Chasing the newest and best equipment and making sure everyone knows is a young man’s obsession. Most old folks just want to enjoy their gardens and it doesn’t define us anymore than planting tomatoes or mowing the lawn for the past fifty years. Good points, I like this episode.

Perfect timing for The AC Infinity products! IDK about their "refillable Carbon filter", they recently came out with, though. More research needed for me. No doubts about their other products. Top tier! Many are trying the refillable I believe other good filters I've gotten were advertised as "Machine packed", which meant much more Carbon for catching VOC's, and more time in the filter. But I may be surprised at the results!🤔👍💯✌️

In that same vein: to fill a final-sized space people can buy HPS for nothing, save money on buying bags of flower in the short term, and then when thats paid for itself (and then some), upgrade to the LED setup they need, and save on electricity.

My 2x2 drying tent setup has the electric motor and racks with clips. I got the idea from a Highagin episode. I have a vent fan and carbon filter and setup the humidifier next to the drying tent intake vent. I have one of those thermometers with a probe so I can monitor the inside without opening it. I like around 50-55% and the buds moving on the carousel as it prevents mold and rot problems. Depending on the size of the buds five to seven days to dry and at least a month of curing. Flushing and watching the flowers is east as well. I don’t go for flavor but everything tastes good nowadays. That’s pretty much all I need. The only time I’d purchase gear would be an upgrade to something like a better PH meter or replace something that broke. I’m from the car generation and we tend to build and/or fix things. That spills over into gardening.

Great talk. I feel that due to the variety of ways a person can grow that advice for one way gets confused with another way (organic, synthetic, indoor, outdoor). Also people growing indoors freak out about conditions that outdoor are natural (i.e. drops of water on leaves magnifying sun - this can happen outdoors naturally, as long as there is air flow to help plants "shake it off" it is not an issue). I'm sure you can think of so many more examples of things people confuse between grow styles and things they freak out about that are non issues.

I’m with Rob organic attitude is 100% over rated and hyped. What the organic cult don’t understand or forget is the same element is used by the roots whether it’s organic or synthetic the element is the same . Ones just already in the usable form and the other has to go through a bacterial process to broken down and plant available. Masterblend or Jacks for the win.

I chose AC Infinity and dialed in the environmental settings and let it rip Also pay attention to your local environment for as humidity to know if you are needing either humidifier or dehumidifier Like Mr Grow It lives in a dry climate & for me I live a 5 minute drive from the largest wetland swamp in north America so there is that I get rain & humidity all the time except for July August & September when it's so hot and dry the ground is cracking So time of year that you are in also matters
@bigwesley939 ай бұрын
In my opinion,If it wasn’t for VPD you wouldn’t know what optimal is. It’s important because it’s letting you know at which rate your plants are transpiring depending on your current circumstances/environment so you can make the best of it without suffocating your plants or learn where you might need to make minor adjustments.

I'm not smart enough to figure out how to build an indoor grow set up. I just would grow small outdoors by planting late. Hide with other plants and shade cloth. AC Infinity allowed me to actually have an indoor grow because they are plug-n-play. It took a bit to learn the app, but easier than teaching myself to be an electrician. Barrier to entry has been lowered by ACI. I like the all in one kits where everything is sized for the tent that it is intended for.

MIGRO is a solid option, for your first LED grow light trial run. Most full spectrum LED lights will have a CRI (color rendering index) in the low 90’s, while MIGRO has a CRI of 82-84. 100 is clear blue sky on the longest day of the year. 82 is what the older 3500K fluorescent light bulbs would deliver in office buildings from at least a decade ago. This is a warmer version of full spectrum lighting. The typical HPS grower will have a similar appearance with determining what the plant is showing, what its needs are.
@jakebrake70549 ай бұрын
And the diodes are not pushed to their maximum wattage, due to his design methodology. Shane, of MIGRO, is a wise man when it comes to understanding how to provide consistency with lighting design. His lighting design is the most rugged, in terms of reliability, and consistency.

If I ever get an extra $1600 I’d buy another guitar and keep using my homemade drying tent. Retired guys can’t afford the fancy stuff just to get a 3% increase in quality. I’d like to see some comparison grows setting an average RH as opposed to fine tuning the VPD. I’d be willing to guess that the difference would be negligible. It would be interesting if someone could compare some of these things on real grows and give the results.

I only like AC Infinity 's inline fan with the controller 69 and the Cloudforge smart humidifier, as for the lights I don't like the fact that they're magnetic. Studies show that a magnetic field near plants can either make the plants more appealing or make less appealing, when it comes to quality. This depends on which magnetic field is near it, the positive or negative magnetic field. You guys should look in to that and do a show on that.

In 24 U.S states it is 'legal' but Federal law says "no". Try growing in a country where it is highly illegal, yet you can drink yourself to death, no problemo. Availability is either zero or they charge extortionate prices for your needs. There is a very limited choice from start to end. Once your hard work and love give you a harvest you are proud of, who cares how you got there? Though the less work the better. And it is therapeutic to guide a seed into a beautiful plant.
