I bought every one of them as a kid, except I could never find 3PO and R2 until ebay came around. I still have all of the figures, weapons, coins and vehicles from the Droids line. Once, I even found a Tig Fromm at a flea market for 50 cents. I took him home and sold him for $80 on eBay with very loose joints.

A great follow up in this series Joey. I wasn't sure if you would get to the Droids / Ewoks figures yet as you weren't in an official collecting run (as far as I was aware). This leads me to believe that you've been quietly picking up a few of these along the way. Any truth to this? 😅 Really looking forward to that run whenever it happens. Thankfully I've collected all these in the past years, only having to collect a few coins to wrap up the loose figure run. Back in the '90s, these were a little bit easier to come by and definitely a lot cheaper. Thanks for putting out a current video on these figures and vehicles. Always nice to see what the current market value is. Looking forward to seeing when you add them to your collection "officially". And can't wait to see the Ewoks video. Hope you're doing well, keep up the great work my friend.

Just FYI: the Boba Fett original 1979 release was a Honk Kong only. The Droids 1985 packaging was a Taiwan made Boba Fett figure only. Much differently made figures. Taiwan has lighter pastel colors(to fit the cartoon image)vs HK has darker colors 👌 both awesome 😎🤙 keep collecting bro

I've seen those. Yea thats a good option, but I'm only into collecting the vintage versions. They are more appealing to me as a collector

Another great video joe!! I dont know alot about the Droids line. Those figures are all hard to find. But I do own a nice A- wing, w/ box cardboard and inserts. Which might be buried with me when I pass!! LOL just kidding. But keep those videos coming. Thanks again!!

I remember when this cartoon came out. I was 16 at the time and still collecting Star Wars stuff (well, figures and vehicles). I'd gone to Toys R Us and bought the following on the Droids cards: C-3PO, R2-D2, A-Wing Pilot (didn't know or see him on the regular card, so that's how I got him) and Uncle Gundy. Mind you, again as I've said before, I never played with these figures, I just took them off the card and stuck them in a drawer. I have all their accessories and coins that go with them as well. And like before, I cut out the proof of purchase seal thinking that Kenner would offer up some more goodies for a handful of them. Oh, and by the way, the Toys R Us price stickers are still on all of them - each priced at $2.97 each.

I live in Toronto, growing up we had a store called Biway, it was like a super cheap discount store. I remember they had those Droids toys on the shelves for years, $0.99

I can't recall seeing Droids on TV in Greece, and I definitely haven't seen any of the figures in my local toy stores. Unfortunately, some figures are hard to find and others are expensive to get, to have a complete set. But the hunt will never stop!!!!!

We never got *any* Ewoks *or* Droids figures or vehicles in the UK although both cartoons were televised. I think Palitoy (by then just a distribution hub) knew that the SW line was on its last legs and didn't think that it was worth the effort and expense of marketing them. Pity. 😑

I purchased both lines in the early nineties on beater cards for my loose collection. Probably have $150 for all 16 figures. I miss those days. So does my bank account.
