To put it simple. Prime: Hot garbage. Bee: Hot Garbage. Primal: Great. Grimlock: Okay. Barricade: Okay.

The bumblebee is trash, the arcee is also pretty trash. I call these trashformers but they arent all that bad.

All of them are awful except for primal and barricade.

I really like the Primal. I think for the price is a very good figure. Hope i can grab one

Primal is unironically fantastic, dirt cheap and you get a very well articulated toy, if you paint it a little and shave away some plastic from the elbows to give it more range, it becomes a GREAT toy. So much so that I designed and printed swords for it and it easily puts most Core class toys to shame, may have even been my most played with toy of last year.

I got the Grimlock one specifically because it’s a G1 Grimlock with the accurate T-Rex posture 🤩

I have all the Transformers Authentics Bravo figures, except Optimus Primal, and I can say that "YES" they are lousy Transformers figures. lol
@dinocorare7 ай бұрын
You NEED to get primal, I own him and its the best one in the entire toyline. Basically its a simpler and smaller kingdom primal.

@@dinocorare I have been looking out for him at my local pharmacy stores, so far no luck.

I was going to say, for that price they're rather decent

I have a few of them, I want the barricade though. I chromed the arms & teeth on my grimlock. More paint apps.I been making my own windows too. I have tracing paper. Also light blue plastic sheets. I trace the windows on the figures. Then I cut the pattern out on the sheets. I use a light dub of rubber cement.& Boom new windows. So I will add windows when I get barricade rest of them.

Lucky yours were $3 I paid $5 and still think I overpaid for Prime 😅

For $3 - $5 sure, they’re fine. But now I have to ask what’s the difference between these and core class figures? Core class isn’t hollow like these, is worth the $6 increase? Articulation is roughly the same, paint is debatable between the 2, depends on the figure. What’s the difference?

I own Bravo and Core Class versions of Optimus Prime. The former of the two is significantly larger and cheaper, but that comes at the price of the figure being noticeably hollow, as in the torso and the head are actually pretty solid, but the legs definitely feel incomplete and the lack of poseable elbows is a shame, since the knees have a point of articulation each. The paintjob for such a cheap product is fairly decent - Prime's head is actually fully painted (and not hollowed out from the back!), which is not the case in the Core figure. Prime from the Core range of figures is really nicely sculpted - it's basically a pocket-sized version of the Earthrise figure. It might be just a problem with my figure, but some of the joints (especially those in the elbows) are way too tight for the tiny size of the figure - that flaw makes his transformation kind of a pain - every time I do it, I'm afraid that something might break, so I mostly keep him in one basic standing pose in his robot mode. That being said, Legends/Legion class used to be my favourite back in the day, so it's quite a joy to see it reborn in way in the form of Core class. Core Prime is pretty much a great yet flawed successor to the old Reveal the Shield Legends figure. If I had to choose which one of these I would give to a kid I would honestly choose the Authentics figure - it feels solid for its price and the transformation, although simple, is pretty satisfying and functional. The Core figure is of course better for display, but I would imagine that probably any Transformers collector (I don't count myself as one) already has a more definitive version of the Autobot leader standing on their shelf. Edit: It is worth mentioning that the Core figure also has hollow spots, most noticeably in the legs.

That Optimus transformation is really unique. Like, the figure is okay at best, but the steps to get to the truck are amazing as a concept?
