Just got all 6 of these and limited edition one they had. They do free UK delivery over 40 and I got an extra £2.50 off for signing up and making an account. Looks like you get points for purchases also. Good deal around. Thanks for the video. Can you please do a follow-up about how to clean them without damaging them, if possible. Thank you.

I use Raphael brushes. Have done for years. Superb brushes, if not a little pricey, you look after them they last ages 👌
@legiox2176 ай бұрын
love them too. i think 8404 size #00 is one of my favorites, and I use #0 for almost everything, 1 and 2 for basecoating sometimes

@@legiox217 utterly superb are they not?
@legiox2176 ай бұрын
@@ArnoldJudasRimmer.. yeah, unreal. I stocked up on all the sizes when I made the discovery. They often aren’t even mentioned, but usually just end up in the top 3 or 5 if you do some searching. I can only attribute this to them not being British , particularly when compared alongside artis opus, w&n7, and rosemary co, the other top contenders I see placed ahead of them usually. Da Vinci is in a similarly underrated category, but inferior to Raphael by far overall imo, although sometimes a softer bristle is nice

@@legiox217 they are as good as, if not personally better then Artis and W & N I think. Artis Opus are very good, but man are they pricey! My dry brushes are Artis and they are awesome lol

Can I get them on amazon?
@DrunkOnTeaUK7 ай бұрын
I don't think they are available on Amazon. You have to go direct to Rosemary & Co or via an independent stockist/ art store.

@@DrunkOnTeaUK I noticed it says they are banned in US they can't ship them to US at the moment would you know if that is true ?
@DrunkOnTeaUK2 ай бұрын
@@filipmazur4763 I've heard that for some reason they can't be shipped to the US. There are some hobby stores that people have said stock them. Unfortunately it looks like it takes a bit more effort to find them State side.

Love the brush review but that golfer you painted isn't using PGA approved kit.
@DrunkOnTeaUK Жыл бұрын
He's playing the pre PGA version of the game. Bullroarer Took sliced the head off a Goblin, and it went flying into a hole in the ground. It was many, many years later, that the PGA came along and enforced a dress code.

Does this company kill animals to produce it?
@DrunkOnTeaUK Жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the company don't kill the animals, but unfortunately, the hair for brushes is often a byproduct of the fur trade. This is why I mostly use synthetic brushes, but there are some jobs where natural hair is just far superior. Hopefully, one day they will make a synthetic that works as well and lasts as long.
@David-yq6un Жыл бұрын
@@DrunkOnTeaUK thanks for your answer, do you recommend any synthetic brushes? For not pro uses
@DrunkOnTeaUK Жыл бұрын
@David-yq6un I find the Games Workshop synthetic brushes (white handles and bristles) work pretty well and last for a fair while. But sooner or later, all synthetics will get a hook at the end or split and not hold a tip, I often just use a cheap set from Amazon or a craft store. You can get a variety of sizes for just a few pounds and they will last for a short while and then throw them out and get another set.
@BlastastiC8 ай бұрын
@@David-yq6un just to chip in that Rosemary & Co have recently introduced a "Red Dot" series of brushes which are synthetic equivalents of the sable series 33 and vegan. I have ordered a set and looking forward to see how they compare with the Series 33 as I would prefer not to use the natural hair brushes. They are much cheaper than the series 33, though of course they will probably wear out a lot quicker due to being synthetics.

I'm triggered! I love those brushed, but they won't ship to the USA anymore because of some animal activist situation..(I'm not really sure).. they just won't ship here any longer. 😢 I'm sad now.
@DrunkOnTeaUK Жыл бұрын
Oh no! I didn't realise they don't ship to the USA! You can get other kolinsky sable brushes shipped to the USA so I don't know why Rosemary & Co can't. Is there perhaps a stockist over there who has them in stock? Maybe an art supply store or something?
