I had a '65 Corvair Corsa 140. It was beautiful, fast, big fun. I used to run away from Datsun Z's (the current fast popular car) accelerating, uphill, on a curve. I would have kept it forever. Unfortunately, it was stolen. I saw it going by the next day on a hook, minus the drivetrain. I lived in San Diego at the time. Somebody built himself a fast dune buggy.

I see the Corvair has the optional parking brick. I love driving and working on my 62 Corvair Monza. It's my daily driver. I put 1380 miles on it in September.

My first car was a 1951 356 cabriolet. I saved it from being scraped. It was slow and over steered insanly. Solde it to pay for college. My next car was a 1965 Corsair Corsa convert able 4spd and 4 carbs.. It was fast and handled very well. This was a great pairing to watch.

1961 monza trim started the Sporty compac bucket seat trend and populized 4 speed ,lot of early 60s cars had 3 speed on the coulum add turbos , 4 wheel independent suspension trend setter. needs more positive press

Donald Osborne is an american treasure. I thought the only thing a Corvair was good for was as an engine donor to a home-built aircraft. Now I'm having guilty recriminations. I remember when 911's were a dime a dozen but they are fantastic little cars, I've never driven the 356. .
