The first collector was born in 1250 and was a monk working as a book painter. He didn´t die and needed some compensation after the book printing was invented. That´s why, when he was 650 years old started to collect Vatikan stamps and for rememberance of his youth he made the stamp books with the beautiful paintings. The second collection came from his son, who was also good at painting but thought, middle-age art is a bit outdated and his girlfriend would like to get some more modern envelopes. Both are outstanding collections and very nice. I like them both.

Wow, wow, wow, the Vatican stamp albums are pure magic - priceless work, really. Personally I would have added the real stamps, but I can imagine that might compete with the artwork. Wow! I loved the beginning of the video! 🤣
