More from Cheshire, huzzah! Always makes my day. I'm not a big fan of either German or Belgian postage, but I have to admit that quality material well presented is fascinating to observe. Thanks, guys!

Wow, those are two very impressive collections, each with its own character. I found it interesting that the German States collection also included many forgeries. Thanks for another interesting video!

After you bought the Belgium collection, you need a new country to collect. Near everything is done. The Altdeutsche Staaten collection is advanced. I like Hannover quite a lot and there was a beautiful number 1 with a perfect cancellation from Hameln. 10 Groschen is very difficult to get without faults, cancelled more than mint. I liked both collection and I assume it took for the two collectors a lot of time to get to this state.

Yes. The Belgium is nearly complete, perhaps the interesting 'back of the book' issues could be expanded? Agree about the German states, a massive subject and perhaps it's best to focus on one or two first. You are correct, these were built by two different collectors.

@@StampAuctions For Belgium there are many possibilities for advancements, like adding letters, looking for good cancellations, looking for the pre-cancellations (they have a ton of it) and on and on. But for mint you are near complete with this collection and I haven´t seen a lot of mint stamps from the first issues. The German states: I would always begin with one or two states. Within some states there are so many fake stamps you can lose a lot of money. Hamburg, Bremen, Bergedorf and Helgoland: I assume there are more fake stamps than genuine ones. Others are not that complicated like Bavaria, Hannover or Würrtemberg. But this does not mean that you will meet no fakes. A global Altdeutsche Staaten collection is always difficult to get. It takes many efforts and money. Not many people are able to get such a good collection like you presented. I think this took decades.
