Tried it a few times... hated it. I love the rubbery feel of the PU grip.

I love towel grip. Especially the ticker one. Just remove the original grip warp the Wood with electrical tape and apply the towel grip. Awesome feeling.👍

For me i like to use towel grip more than pu grip & even overgrip just because it gave a better feel when i use my rackets especially the head heavy ones but usually after 2-3 sessions it become dirty & uncomfortable...so i use overgrip more than the towel grip since it lasts longer

Been using factory grips from Yonex since the start. I’m happy with them, for me the more important variable is the string :)

All the drawbacks mentioned plus it makes the racquet feel really heavy... fine tuned to use extra small grip sizes when on pu due to this...

I mainly use towel grip with grip powder as I have really sweaty hands, and I love it because of the fluffiness that the fabric feels in my hand. I occasionally use pu grip for a change, but only when the weather is really cool.

i used to use towel grip ever since i played in my childhood days, but now i tend to like Rubber grip more like AC102 from Yonex. my settings is: i remove the original grip, wrap the wood with 1 layer of electrical tape, stack with 2 layer of cuahion wrap and then wrap with rubber grip note: i have sweaty hands but ive found the right rubber grip for me, and one of them is ac102

I've been using towel grip for 2 years now because first, I almost broke a racket tryna smash with rubber grip (the racket flew outta my hand) second, I swear like hell and third I get the worst hand blisters with rubber grip

Hey Yew, I’m from India. I usually play in outdoor and my hands were often getting wet due to sweat. And I decided to change my grip from over grip to towel. I noticed one thing that my racquet became even balance. Then I removed it and applied overgrip. Now I’m regular towels to wipe my sweaty hands. 😢

Max use is 2 games if you're using towel grip, it will become hard and smelly.. use grip powder too to dry it and soften the towel grip.. it is very common to use towel grip with head heavy racket

I am the one who sweats a lot like literally I start sweating while standing even under a shade of tree 😅 But yeah towel grips are not comfortable for me. They slip a lot even if I use a new or old one. I like the overwrap grips and their sticky texture

@CKYew Mine barely came up to the bottom of the cone and that was without the "1/8 overlap". So I took my dual wave grip off and also the original Victor grip, then tried putting the cushion wrap and towel grip over that. Same result. If I ever buy towel grip again, it'll be a roll, so I can decide what length to use.

I always start from the back of the con... once I get to the base of the grip I give it an extra twist and then tie it with a small string so it doesn't come off easily... and at each twist I stretch it about half an inch so the grip doesn't feel too thick.
