One thing that could help with discomfort is a wedge so the trackball sits at, for instance, a 15-30° angle. I have this setup with a ploopy classic trackball, and have easily done 8-12 hour sessions. Not sure if I've seen anything like that for the Gameball.

watching Frib what sold me on this mouse when he was using the scroll-circle to bullshit twerk around the training area is something my standard mice could never do also moving a full mouse around makes my moves choppy if I over extend lol

I have a gameball and im still trying to get used to it (trying to grip it like Frib with index/middle finger to aim and ring to ads). What sensitivity do you use? I like lower sens but its very hard to move my index/middle fingers wide enough to track people without a higher sens when gripping ads with my ring finger. Great review btw! :)

That’s the EXACT issue I was having. I’m a low sens player on regular mouse as well. But playing low sens on this feels great UNTIL you have to turn in ANY direction LMAO. I had mine set to about 5. But I was changing it a lot. Frib plays on 4.2 I believe

@@InfyPooh I think using the ring finger to ADS forces a high sens because you just dont have enough range of motion. Im probably just going to go back to using my grip. Im not as good as frib but im still pretty good. If you havent, you should pull the gameball back out (if you still have it) and try my grip out. Dont gotta make a video or anything with it unless you wanted to but just give it a run for a few games n see how u like it! :) I play with my thumb on the top left button as left click (fire) and pinky on top right button as right click. Then play with index, middle, and ring finger on the ball. And when tracking at close ranges, sometimes your fingers will hit the sides of the mouse, I just pick up either my ring or index finger when its about to hit and play with the other 2 until I can recenter my hand. Lmk if you give it a try! 💯

Frib knows me but I also play on a trackball. The discomfort I found more prone in the GameBall due to shape. I play on a Kensington Orbit and it's a smaller form factor. Downside is of course sensor as there is very little trackballs that have a 1000hz sensor.

Damn, guess the shape just isn’t that great for my sized hands perhaps? But regardless it’s sucks more trackballs don’t have 1k hz

@@InfyPooh It does suck, the way I like to think of the Orbit is like trying to dive into fingertip/smaller form factor mice. Not much we can do as ballers except give suggestions to GameBall and their new partner.

0:54 20+ for me. I hate mieces to pieces! 1:05 Trackballs have been around longer than mieces. 1:37 Offset trackballs are no good for gaming. Gotta be ambidextrous/symmetrical. There might be some out there who can game effectively with an offset trackball, but they'd be the exception, not the rule. 3:22 I ADS with my "F" key. Left-mouse is "shoot," right-mouse is "move forward." And I orient my left hand ASDF-style instead of WASD. 9:54 Represent!
