I'm not going to yell at you, but there is an interesting point that needs to be made. A man seeking a competitive advantage against other men, takes steroids(testosterone) for a cycle. They do high doses of testosterone for a period, with intense workouts for that period, and then stop to allow their testosterone levels to drop and be able to pass the drug test. This causes a ton of damage to muscles like the heart. Trans "women" can do this exact same thing, without taking a single dose of steroids. Steroids don't immediately allow the person taking them to throw a car like the movies, instead they allow for more muscle growth. Once that muscle is grown, you can drop the androgen levels to near zero and still have the advantage of those muscles. Here is the problem: A man can stop taking the androgen blockers for 6 months or so, train heavily during that time, and then go back on the blockers with a huge advantage. Essentially, doping becomes NOT taking a drug instead of taking one. The same caveats would also apply, specifically, your body doesn't like it when you go from loaded with testosterone to no testosterone to loaded with testosterone on that type of cycle. It WILL cause heart damage, and all manner of steroid related problems, just without the steroids. That is on top of any and all side effects of the blockers themselves. But as we know, people will do anything to obtain a competitive advantage, even if it literally kills them.

I chose to transition, therefore I should not be participating in team sports where I have an advantage. I'd have a chemical advantage against biological women who are not on HRT. Heather.... I made this exact same argument in another post about trans in sports. I got howled down by feminists verbally abusing me for insinuating that women aren't as good as men. When it comes to strength and stamina the majority of women suck badly and that is not a derogatory comment, it's just fact, however when it comes to fine motor dexterity they shine brilliantly all over most men. I'm not saying that a man or woman can't call themselves a man/woman, what I do object to is they wants to force their thinking on others. In Australia there was a transgender football player who wanted to compete in the womens team. Big problem was, the person (Hannah Mouncey) had previously been a professional athlete in male sport and weighed 100kg (200lb). Hannah dominated the games she had played and seriously risked injuring the legitimate 60-70kg women that Hannah played against. The football league ultimately decided to exclude her from womans football and the internet went mad.

I was a biology major in college. (146 credits babyyyyy) and that chick at 4:12 is just embarrassingly ignorant and plain wrong. Hell, the differences between male and female bodies start development in the first trimester of pregnancy. Sure, we could go into the genetics behind sex(Kleinfelter's, Turners, mosaicism, etc), but I am talking purely biologically. Even with hormone therapy, there will never, ever be a 100% transition. It's not even BAD science to make the claim that chick did, it's NOT REMOTELY science. I'm honestly embarrassed on her behalf. And, I know you said "don't @ me, I admit I am not a biologist", but to be perfectly honest, you did a pretty heckin good job. It happens consistently in adult cage fighting mma stuff like that theres even one match that resulted in a transgender fighter literally breaking her biologically female opponents skull and it's still being allowed. Transgender women are winning over biological females in fights but you dont even see transgender men in fights period. They cant get to the physical levels to even compete. There are a few transgender female fighters who were lower ranking fighters as biological males until their 30s then they transitioned to women started fighting women and obviously have done very very well. It seems so irresponsible to allow this to happen because it's obviously so dangerous for the females in the sport and it makes it so obvious when you consider the lack of trans males in the sport because they simply dont have the biology to compete they would be hurt going into the ring against males all the time but because no one wants to offend any one it's ok. ..its ok to endanger people to save the feelings of other people I dont understand

So question... I did a paper for my bio course covering the topic of DHEA in competitive sports. As you probably know they're legal supplements but considered "dope" according to the doping agency. So if they're allowing mtf compete in female sports then why can't cis gender females use T boosters/E blockers? ? At least it would take away the edge, at least slightly. Plus my understanding SOME mtf involved with teen sports (specifically 2 mentioned cases) weren't even on hormones, at least to start. As if they're saying "I feel like a female, therefore I am, my hormones change based on my feelings". I really wish people would take biology and other sciences as gospel, instead of relying on feelings, and "reasearch" based on confirmation biases. Of course the original hypothesis will be confirmed with new studies, because the participants who may bring an argument are eliminated during the initial phase. 🙄

I’ve run an incalculable amount of miles. I was in the army and there was a marked difference between the males and females trans or otherwise. It took four females to get me over a wall where I could throw each one over with one arm! They got to do knee push-ups and less situps. But they got the same pay and rank as I did. The funny thing is the pay and rank weren't the problem, it was the idea of going into combat that drew the most strife. I know they couldn't do the same job as me and I didn't want to die because of it... But I guess that makes me transphobic and sexist, right?

Idk if you are serious or not, but having sports categories separate for men and women *IS* gender equality. How would it be fair if all of the sports were mixed and men would win 90% of the categories consistently? I wouldn't call that very equal. That is exactly why it's a problem that transgender athletes are allowed to compete based on their gender instead of their physical sex. Female to male trans athletes stand no chance in the men's categories while male to female trans athletes dominate women's categories. If things continue how they are now, at some point there will be no cis gendered women competing for medals, or rather they have no chance at getting one.

In a nutshell, this is why men who claim to be women cannot compete fairly with REAL women, all other things (age, size, etc) being equal. 1. Men have narrower pelvises, which makes running easier. Each step by a woman is supported farther from the center of gravity than a step by a man, creating a slight balance issue.Women's pelvises are wider than men's to permit the passage of the skull of a baby. This makes ANY running sport unfair to women. 2. Men have larger and stronger bones than women, permitting them to carry more weight and exert more force. 3. Men have larger and stronger muscles than women, permitting them to carry more weight and exert more force. None of these advantages are diminished in the least by "transgender" treatment. The women athletes train as hard as men and deserve an equal chance to compete against their PEERS, which do NOT include men. It is grossly unfair when a woman trains herself into athletic excellence and is easily defeated by a mediocre male pretending to be a woman.

You are wrong about the balance issue. Since women have far less body mass in their torso (upper body), it balances out on average. In fact, it is us men who have a problem with balance. That's why we spread our legs sitting, since there is more body weight in males torso, than lower part of the body.

Also most men have shorter torso to leg length which actually balances their bodies. Women may have less upper body mass, but most women have longer torsos to leg length. A longer torso helps when carrying an unborn child. So men do have an advantage when it comes to balance and strength.

Well...in a prison, I think it was Idaho...this Male inmate decided to start identifying as a female. He requested a transfer to the female prison as the male inmates were harassing him. I kid you not...dude's request was granted. Bet you can guess what happened next. His cellmate reported she was raped by him. A few other inmates filed sexual assault charges. The prison swept it under the rug and told the rape victim to keep quiet and say it was consensual. The end result, the prison authorities claimed "transphobia". So clearly we know who's side they're on. Oh yeah also, my understanding this person was not taking hormones. If they were his dick wouldn't work. I know...his dick wouldn't need to work to rape. But I did go extra and looked into that to confirm, he wasn't on anything. (Philosophy/ethics assessment) My suggestion for resolution to this issue, was to house them on separate blocks. Sure they will try and holler "discrimination" or "the nearest trans block prison is located 300 miles away" to that the response would be...this is prison, not summer camp. FR you'd never hear about a FTM doing this...we know what would happen. 🤷‍♂️

Biology has nothing to-do with trying to be PC CORRECT. As a female testing positive for higher levels of Testosterone back in the 70's I wasn't allowed to compete in any non team related sports in high school at a competition level. Having a medical condition that made me stronger than the average female, yet it physically didn't show. I was extremely well rounded, large breasted, but I have muscle mass and very little fat on the rest of my body, I could out bench press the guys in the football team. I was a bodybuilder in my twenty's. I had a massive coronary and stroke at 23, because I didn't know that I had used up practically all the body fat on my body, dieting, trying to get to the weight that the BMI said I should be for my height. Even though I was admitted into the hospital for anorexia at the time, and warned that my body was trying to eat itself. still weighing more than 30 pounds above BMI my doctor wrote in my chart I was obese.This didn't help me psychologically. After rehabilitation etc. a job at a hospital tested you for their workers comp as to your liability weakness. Had to do the test twice as they thought, somehow, I had done it wrong, I tested out stronger than the average man for my height 5'2" & 165lb. I had to bring in medical records that proved that I had this condition, and then they hired me. I continued to have problems with this condition. My Dr.s tried to treat me with female hormones, suppress the testosterone to some extent because they said I would prematurely age and they were right, though I did everything in my power to maintain a healthy lifestyle I am now in the body of a 70 year old who didn't take care of themselves my husband is in the body of a seventy-year-old with the physique of a 50 something year old because we have lived a healthy lifestyle. My Geneticist feels the extra testosterone in a female body caused me to do more than most women would have done and I over-extended the capability of my female body because I didn't understand that it couldn't take the burden that I was putting on it. For example I was basically my hubby's right hand "man" when it came to doing any work around the house including Roofing Etc & I was able to lift more than he could 50 lb bags of concrete mix etcetera were nothing to me. He'd look at me like, I married Marilyn Monroe, she's walking around like Conan the Barbarian. Worse is I'm a girl girl. The only real serious problem I had was excess facial hair which I had to constantly either wax and I had a lot of hair on my forearms and on my legs which was unusual because it was very dark compared to the rest of me which was very bright red or blond as a matter fact you can't even see my eyebrows as they're so blond I did have PCOS and went without normal menstration none at all for 20 years until I was 39 when medication accidentally kicked my hormones into a different direction can you imagine having to start your life as if you were13yrs old at 39? It really makes me angry that transgender athletes aren't honest with themselves. Nor the community! They put greed for scholarships & winning ahead of being true sports examples. Nnnnaughty! If you look at the women in athletic sports especially the top contenders who continued competing after puberty they diet down usually or are built specifically to where they are not normal sized they are extremely fan and pretty much mostly muscle mass very little body fat this would allow them to produce more to start are own than the girls around them probably less estrogen and progesterone so they could be stronger so of course they're gonna test out a little higher on the levels and so yeah some guy taking hormones for a year are 2 he's gonna drop down and so all maybe there's no difference after several years. Similar body composition is one of the biggest keys here having to have my life controlled by geneticist since I was in my 20s due to the fact that my body was basically screwed up. Body genetic makeup is also important to look at if you have a 6 foot guy competing against a 5 foot 2 young life woman and this man is built with legs that are 2 times the size of the girl but he's more powerfully built 6 foot 2 young women very rarely can compete in major sports I had a good friend who was 6 foot 2 but her body build was big the other girl closest to her in high school was extremely thin and had very thin bones we don't seem to get them combined into the male physique of tall and large bone you have to look at all of that and a lot of young women don't want to be out there so when you get somebody out there who's willing to compete they're usually all about the same size and then you have a puberty male and you look at his parents' these young men that are competing over there back East you look at their parents they're large they're big and these young boys are double the size the girls are competing against. They're large they're large bones their taller even though they're the same age I think even one of them is younger. Genetics makes a huge difference. So these boys they might be taking some female hormones at this time but I can guarantee you they're not taking enough to reduce sexual drive or you would be destroying normal healthy sexual drivers @ a young age. Being adopted you don't have medical records or information to go on. At 36 my birth family showed up & turns out all women on mothers side appears to have inherited this condition. My younger sister is a PE teacher. The state she's in didn't start testing HS athletes till 90's. She got into college on a scholarship I was banned from earning. She's struggling with a prematurely aging body also. Two sisters, have already died, all of us have fought serious early cancer! The boys (2 survived birth) carried more of fathers DNA. Needless to say I'm living proof biology trumps PC biological lies.
