I’m so sick of the “privilege” movement. It’s a convenient way of lacking accountability for yourself.

It’s not “thin privilege” it’s “obese disadvantage”. Don’t blame airplane companies for not having big seats, they simply need to get as many passengers on the board as possible.

I love how overweight people think thin people are just thin without any effort. Like everybody hasn't got their own battle. It's hard for all of us.

I'm tall and am always bumping my head on low ceilings. This height privilege thing really does my head in.

The real privilege is that they had enough food to get this Big .

As a skinny girl, I felt shameful when I attended a family reunion and a lot of my relatives repeatedly told me how thin I was.

I am thin and random strangers will tell me to "put more meat on those bones" or to "eat more"!!! So just because you're skinny doesn't mean you won't be harassed. I was always bullied at school because I was thin. Don't even talk about shopping for clothes...I've given up on bras. Thin privilege right 🙄

Im overweight and agree with everything she said. It makes me so mad how these girls are trying to throw thinner healthier girls under the bus for their choices...i look up to healthier girls for inspiration to lose weight.

I'm a bald man. You hair people don't know what it's like. Never having to use shampoo or pay for barbers. Bald privilege, FTW!

Being fat, getting constantly shamed, and having health issues is hard. Being disciplined, working out daily and watching what you eat is also hard. Choose which "hard" you want to live with, and act accordingly.

When I worked in retail women thought they had every right to comment on my body constantly- "Do you eat?" "Are you sick?" "Are you anorexic?" "How much do you weigh?" "Why are you so thin- what's wrong with you?" Doctors are horrible. Clothing is harder to come by and costs more. That being said comparing being "too thin" to "too fat" is ridiculous. Imagine the "too thins" trading places with the "too fats" for a year. I'm guessing one group would be a bit more eager.

"Thin Privilege" is basically "why doesn't the world accommodate my choice to eat too much and move too little?" The narcissism in all these movements just drips off like .... erm... fat.

I’ve been around 150-160 lbs most of my life until 2013, when an accident happened during a routine surgery and my stomach ended up paralyzed. I dropped down to 98lbs, most of my bones were visible, and my hair began falling out and I ended up having to buzz it. And a coworker proceeded to tell me “you look like one of those Auschwitz people”…knowing full well I’d lost family there. My ex even started making terrible comments about my weight loss despite him having been a self-professed lover of waifs. I had never personally experienced anything hurtful about my weight ever in my whole ass life until I became thin. So as someone who’s been on both sides of this, ‘thin privilege’ is bullshit. Full stop.

You better preach!!! The amount of times I’ve been called anorexic or cracked out bc I’m thin is disgusting. I’m so fucking healthy and people shame me on a regular basis. I have no GD time for ‘thin privilege’.
