I think workers are always behind, Union workers might ne even or slightly ahead, I can remember $18,000 here , you were middle class here. My dad lived well when he first retired. then before he died ,they had to watch what they spent. . One thing unions don't negotiate in contracts is a cost of living increase in pensions. Of course , no one hardly gets pensions today.

no they are not ,,b4 2020 20 bucks an hour was adv for years here in ozzie at and during covid it went up as no one wanted to work now they offer crap$$ hr rate and want alot of unnessary tickets and licencesie cranes ,forklift ,firefighting ,ewp etc for a job packing boxes
