Today we'll visit Slickpoo Idaho where Kathy's father was born in a Fathers Day Celebration with 22 other amazing creators and artists. The collaboration was put together by Aishu ‪@AishusCraftyKidsClub‬ Thanks Aishu for all your hard work!

Thanks Julie and Lucy. I guess I'm back home now. Kathy and I already have our spots reserved! Hopefully it will be a while! 🤣🤣 Slickpoo was an interesting visit. We just chanced on introducing ourselves to what turned out to be a distant relative to Kathy and he and his wife were great. We spent hours with them and still keep in touch. He's a farmer there and his farmland includes the old homestead which is no longer there. He did show us where it was along with many gravesites of old family members. Hi Dave & Kathy! It was lovely seeing some memories of your previous travels and your own respective fathers. How parents raise their children really impacts their future - they definitely planted the seed of enjoying traveling and exploring for both of you! The area around Canmore is really beautiful - some friends of mine got married there as well, so we have some fun memories of visiting there. Oregon & Washington & southern B.C. are still on my list of places to visit because of the rainforests. We would visit the U.S. but the exchange rate always holds us back. Someday we'll just do it. So nice you were able to have your grandfather's grave so close...I'm could tell you a tale of what it took to find my great grandfather's LOL. Great seeing videos from 2019 showing your son then Kathy's area in Idaho. No way would I just go "find" a relative to go to their house and talk to...tooo afraid of getting shot on the porch. I was always so jealous of my neighbors that had a Station wagon. But I was fortunate enough to always get to ride in the back of it. I left your trip down memory lane and it has brought tears to my eyes. Dave you're such an amazing man and I know that you will cherish all the memories that you have with your family.
