FREE WILL seems to be a subject that has been "on the table" for some time. am i understanding the idea of "free will", as you contextualize it, as the work of Mans existing in an environmental context, necessitating PROVISIONAL REQUIREMENTS, and his ADAPTIVE qualities to respond, no matter his historical/cultural context. OR, within this level of perspective of experience, one could say, THE NEED FOR PROVISIONAL CONDITIONS, ARE INHERENT IN THE HOMEOSTATICE PROCESS OF THE EVOLUTION OF MAN? by this, it seems the notion of "free will", is then, a PERCEPTION of the Man having the experience of being an INDEPENDENT agent, in Nature, which is DELUSIONAL, as we know full well, Mans existence is totally interdependent on Nature, and is the culmination of the UNIVERSAL Forces in a DYNAMIC "WEAVE" or matrix, of relationships. SO, could one say, the ability to be ADAPTIVE, per the requirements of a "cultural" MENTALITY, may not be a FREEDOM, as much as a LEVEL OF PERCEPTION of ones place and types of actions one makes, in order to participate in that "culture" or social structure, which could be totally devoid of a more comprehensive view of the ULITMATE HOMEOSTATICE PROCESS at work in the development of MAN. (it is understood we are all trying to survive, and are attempting to make choices to do so, but, with such a limited perspective of the REALITY OF OUR EXISTENCE AS AN ASPECT OF NATURE, we deceive ourselves into believing we are "independent", and beyond that of the TOTALITY or interdependence WITHIN the WHOLE.) in this sense, one believes one is "FREE" , rather than RESPECTING how ones existence is "IN PLAY". or put another way, the PROVISIONAL REQUIREMENTS are totally UNRELATED to how one has come into existence, and the product of what has originated within the UNIVERSAL is not part of their experience or psychology .
