Last time i loved a Chelsea manager was Tuchel. When we unveiled his banner for him it was a great moment & was upsetting to hear how hard it hit him when he was sacked. I hope Maresca is given time to reach that level, in terms of fan support.

You can appreciate what Tuchel did but don’t forget how many flops he brought in before he left on huge wages! Aubameyang, koulibaly, sterling…. IMO those signings are primarily why so many managers have struggled since he left. Now they’re all gone and boehly isn’t at the wheel in terms of signings, we’re coming good again!

Maresca is pretty new at the job, that is the only reason Chelsea do not take the pressure. In terms of going on a run in the 2nd half of the season, Chelsea did that last season and the likes of Villa and Tottenham were just lucky that Chelsea had been many points away. If Maresca improves on that, Arsenal will find it hard to see 2nd place. Given how Maresca is a student of Pep and knows how to put wins together plus what Chelsea did last season, Chelsea are genuinely dangerous in this title race especially with better performances from the goal keeping position.

I personally make Chelsea favourites solely on squad depth/quality and fixture congestion. This PL season is so unpredictable there’s only 9 points separating 13th and 2nd. Tottenham on Sunday is the statement game if we win that and City in Jan we will be there come May.

The biggest problem on this game is the English FA choice of Antony Teller as the officiating referee. He is the 12th player for Tottenham as he hates Chelsea with passion more than the Devil himself. He spoils all Chelsea games by frustrating the players first and make his dubious actions against Chelsea that the English FA applauds and never punishes him for all his deliberate wrong doings he does whenever he punishes Chelsea.

Conference league is still a European competition. Have to respect it. Have to win it. Regardless of the expectation from everywhere is “Chelsea should win it, or it’s too easy”. We are in it. So, we should win it. Would be huge for a young team. Add it to the cabinet. Another European trophy in the books. Because… this is Chelsea Football Club. Spurs were in it in the inaugural season and sniffed at it. West Ham didn’t, and won it. Other English teams surely didn’t take it seriously. If you’re in a cup competition, a European one no less, and you are Chelsea football club. The aim should be to win it. Always.

To push his way into the 1st 11 he needs to be dominating these games and have a better attitude! FWIW i want the Conference League, and we *have* to win it. Not just because it’s expected, but win them all, and it may be decades before someone else can say the same. Chelsea could be the only club that’s won every available cup. It is going to be difficult for any other club to hit that mark given the current climate of global football. Who else is going to win the Conference League in the next 20 years who has also won Europa, Champions League, Club World Cup, Cup Winners Cup… you get the point

We absolutely do have a better squad than Arsenal. We have far better depth than they do. Our squad depth is the key reason we could challenge for the league. No other team in the league can make 7 changes mid week and still have that quality of player across the pitch. We are in a title race. I still think Liverpool will win but we are 100% in the race. Look at our next 8-9 games. They are all games I expect us to win.
