I shipped them first, but in 2012 I saw an interview with Mark Gattis (who plays Mycroft Holmes) and who co-created/wrote this series and is gay himself, explained, this story is higher than a love story, they are soulmates who need each other. So I decided to watch it through those eyes and was never let down. Enjoyed all four seasons and understood why it still got a high score on IMDB, even the last season, gosh, I even left tumblr because it got so much hate, but it's actually quite good. Though fair to say, Sherlock and John interacting with each other on the show, has let to numorous fanfictions about Johnlock and for sure I have read hundreds of them. Fond memories of those. I really hope you both enjoy the show as much as you enjoyed the first episode. Good luck.

I think of Sherlock as being asexual. But other than the fact that it's not physical, Holmes & Watson are very much in a relationship.

I see Sherlock more as strongly demisexual. He won't be sexually attracted to anyone unless there's a strong emotional connection, and that's exactly what he has with John, more than anyone else. As someone who is demisexual, it's nice to see that type of representation.

🔎. I watched Sherlock when it came out through… other… means. I loved series 1 - 3, though i think series 4 jumped the shark a bit. The interplay between Mycroft (Sherlock;s brother) and Sherlock is hilarious. I’m not sure where you can stream it. No spoilers, but if you think the relationship between Sherlock and Watson is shippy, wait til you see the relationship between him and the big bad

I really liked Sherlock, and I very much enjoyed watching the two of you react to it. I've never seen your channel before. This video popped up because I recently watched a different channel doing some analysis of the show. I have a hard time watching so many creators, even if the content is interesting, just because the people are annoying. High shrill voices, overly animated, affected personalities that seem more obnoxious than friendly. However, I absolutely loved watching you guys. Just chill, quiet voices, calmly just saying what you're thinking. I absolutely hate watching any movie or show with most people because they bug the hell out of me, but I could totally binge a show with you guys. Thanks for the experience. I think I will subscribe for more of your entertaining (and not annoying) content. You have a new fan.

Superwholock - the holy trinity and the curse that rules tumblr 😂😂 supernatural is my favorite show ever, started it sometime around 2016 and haven't had a single day without it ever since 😅 sherlock is probably the best show I have ever watched. They don’t…but unlike a lot of ships in these kinds of shows, in the entire duration of this first episode, they kept calling them boyfriends and basically treating John like a love interest. If he was a female character with the same dialogue and role, that would be what people would think. Soooo we’re really just going off of what we’re watching. And sometimes shipping is just fun. If I don’t have a romantic relationship that I like in the show I’m just gonna ship someone else 🤷🏽‍♀️ -E
