For that first question, I've only been in two previous relationships. The first one was more of a "situationship" when I was 16-18. Our break up was pretty decent but were not friends anymore. My last one was from 18-21 and that ex was very mentally and emotionally abusive, and sometimes physically abusive. So when I finally got the courage to end it and leave I completely blocked and cut him off. I'm glad I did because a couple months later I met my husband who's the most amazing and wonderful man I've ever met. We're in a polyamorous relationship now with a 3rd man we've both known for awhile and all 3 of us are the happiest we've ever been.

As someone who is completely blind I just wanted to let you know that we are able to put things together when it comes to meeting people. For example I know how tall I am and when talking to someone I can hear where their voice is coming from and if it's coming from below me or above me I know that they either shorter or taller than me. So we know more than you think

Damn. As a CIS male, I hard relate to the comment around 30min mark... I used to hard eject myself from relationships. When I ended up dating someone in my mid 20s that I felt was my forever person, things started to get toxic a few years in where I took an abrupt exit after I couldn't take it any more. She was genuinely my best friend and the shitty cold exit I took left a hole for me mentally and unfortunately a shock to my partner as well. If I can give an piece of advice to people in a situation where a partner suddenly changes their personality in a relationship-- dig deeper, be genuine, be humble, willing to accept you may be the problem, and talk through how it affects you both. If that person is still an asshole, don't forget your value and get out, but maybe your partner is just going through something they don't know how to talk to you about. It's worth giving it more of a shot than I did. I'm now in my mid 30s and the way I dropped that relationship is still the biggest regret of my life. Thanks for continuing this show, Barb & team!

I think Stevie would be a great mom, but also fits the cool aunt type perfectly. Edit: I should probably clarify that I think all 3 would be fine. Nobody in this episode would ruin their kids. I commented on Barbara before, years ago (with my previous account)... and I think she said she wants to be the cool aunt type, anyway... and fits that best. Charlotte I honestly haven't seen too much of, but I think may actually fit a parental role best.

My cat is the greatest. He loves to snuggle, play, and sleep. I don't know why people have such strong negative opinions with cats. And I noticed that dog people seem to only like dogs, while cat people like might be open to both, like myself. I just prefer cats as they are so much easier to take care of. Every dog and cat I ever came across liked me right away, so I always feel good being around animals. Another thing to keep in mind is that, if a dog doesn't like someone, you should listen, they are usually right. Small rant over, now go and enjoy the cats and dogs you have, they are one of the greatest things on this planet

on that question around 25:00. sometimes breakups are eye openers for people. Both me and my friend broke up with our bfs recently for reasons after long relationships. Once they realized that the things we asked but they didnt do cause towards it they actively worked to better themselves (we are both tiny bit salty at it cus we are still friendly with them and are just like "where was this when you were with me" but in the spirit of still caring were are happy to see them grow even if we feel that spite. Maybe bf realized after the break up he should of been nicer and gone on that roadtrip so hes trying harder with the next relationship.

09:25 Other than having patrons experience how the visually-impaired experience the world, it also gives the visually-impaired a place to work with dignity, a place where their disability isn’t a handicap. But of course as Americans, you can’t see past yourself and your own experience. Blindfold, pfft. How smart.
