You guys are great, and I can’t wait to meet you on the October group cruise. I love what you do in all the social media channels, and y’all are part of what inspired me to become a TA (for a whole 2 months now!), but really, you are entitled to your own personal lives and to take what personal time you need. You’re human, and that’s not anything to feel sorry for. So glad things are normalizing, and looking forward to a great 2025

Glad to see ya'll back. Always remember yourself and family first. I'm from Texas. We just got back from a cruise out of Galveston. You have to eat at Fisherman's Wharf. Great food. Sit out on the outside seating and watch the dolphins play as your eating. Plus if there is a Carnival ship in port they are right there.

Don't feel bad - family first. My 2 Grandfathers died before I was born, a fraternal Grandmother died before I got to know her, so I only knew my maternal grandmother and she died before I was a teen. IMO: no problem taking some time off for whatever reason - take of yourselves first - sometimes you just have to. Take your time getting back into "the groove". Take care!
@whislermike6913 сағат бұрын
I hope you're flying in the day before. There are several great places to eat, drink and other things to do. Check out The Spot for food and drinks. There is also a dolphin tour down by the docks to check out and down town. Im not sure what motel your staying at. I will be in Galveston with my son and his girlfriend for a cruise January 31. We board on February 1

You will need a couple of days there to thoroughly enjoy all it has to offer. Don't miss Pleasure Pier it's awesome to ride if the Ferris wheel is open, the views are out of this world. Moody Gardens is also great but not right now. Freezing temps expected this weekend State wide. Stay warm and pack accordingly

Glad you have overcome your challenges. Also, glad to hear you are making more vids. Although, will spending time on smaller or less-well-known ships decrease your viewership?
@JJCruise10 сағат бұрын
We believe these ships are less focused on by larger channels which makes it sometimes have less content out there for people to find. Thus, our content may rise to the top for those looking for said content. We saw this with Enchantment of the Seas when we went onboard her just last year. ☺️

Some suggestions for Galveston from a Houstonian. First, the cold weather is not normal, and you may laugh at our response to possible snow. We enjoy The Grotto (San Louis Hotel) for a nice meal. If you have a car, stopping at Buckee's off I-45 South is a true Texas experience. My husband and I enjoyed sailing on the Magic many years ago. Have fun!

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. Galveston is the only port I have ever sailed out of. Easy drive for us the day before. We get a hotel and board early on embarkation day. I haven’t done a Disney cruise, mostly Royal Caribbean. And since they have a brand new, state of the art, port it is very convenient. Disney actually is sailing out of the old Royal port. Love the Radiance class of ship. In 2023 was on Radiance to Key West and the Bahama’s. Last year we were on Jewel of the Seas. 11 Day cruise to the south Caribbean. Have a great time. Looking forward to hearing what he have to say about the port in Galveston.
