I worked in UAE for 17 years. Now, I am in Sweden in student permit. While I was working in UAE, if I get out from my building where I stayed we can see outside lot of prostitutes. I have never experienced like this in Sweden. Also, UAE is banning people who need family visa because of bad records of running away from their sponsors. Then, they banning lifetime. But, unfortunately there is no ban for these prostitutes.

I appreciate Sheikh Uthman and I ask Allah to bless him. But as a positive criticism, I do think his answer gives the wrong perception of most Muslim countries. Most Muslim countries don’t have hijab/niqab banned or arrest brothers for having beards, most countries are not Uzbekistan or the other Stan countries where this happens, alhamdulillah. In most countries you can live a much more practicing lifestyle and protect yourself and families from sins easier and even do dawah. You can live longterm if you get a job there. I actually know of many revert brothers and sisters that do this and have been able to live in these countries for over a decade. Also pay attention to the part where Sheikh Uthman said you have to leave if your purpose is to work. The scholars mentioned that a valid purpose to stay in Dar Al Kufr is dawah which sadly most Muslims don’t really intend when moving to non-Muslim countries.

Bismillah Salam exactly especially for those who have children I recommend homeschooling. children will be confronted with the secular educational school system, secular individualism, feminism, the right to their sexual choices, the right to choose to be a girl or a boy, because the whole thing is to colonize their brain to integrate them. For those who live far from their parents it is very hard, the children will also grow up far from their grandparents and family, then when you are old in your turn you will regret it and your children will risk leaving to make their life far from you too

Well I moved to the UAE for a year and yeah you cannot do dawah. It's actually illegal to promote your religion. Sure they've got massive amazing masjids but from the start of the conflict in Gaza until the moment we left 7 or so months later we never once heard a prayer for Palestine. Crossed the border for a weekend in Oman and nearly cried during jummah salah when I heard Falistine mentioned during the dua at the end of the Kutbah. We returned to the west where my husband returned straight away to his weekend dawah stall. Alhumdulillah.

@@EllieIbu is afghanitan not a muslim country? where we have sharia courts wide open for every conflict? in the west even marriage and child custody disputes needs to be taken to the taghut courts, authutbillah. just like woorshipping others beside Allah is shirk, going to the manmade courts for judgement is shirk too, at least the "muslim" countires have islamic courts for civil matters unlike th west

Switzerland banned the niqab. In that case it might be obligatory to perform Hijra. But then again, doing niqab isn’t fardh so that’s a whole different situation

There are others. You have to stop thinking in terms of countries, because this is a modern concept. The cities of Makkah, Madinah and others are good. Many north african countries too. But its not just sharia, its the customs of the people, do they follow islam even if not enforced?

I mean, this possibly could be true but he gave a decent answer, there truly isn't many places that are better than the west for Islam because there is more kufr here and there is more nifaq in the east. And there is lots of shirk in both of them. So it's a tough decision, although if there is a place you know to travel to that practices Islam well and has an islam-based society, then you should definitely travel there for the sake of you and your future generations. And Allah knows best.

If Muslims were willing to accept a lower standard of living, residing in countries like Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Libya. Those are some of the Muslim Countries that have much lower rate of participation in the current liberal global system compared to other Muslim and non Muslim countries. The truth is most Muslims aren’t willing to abandon the pleasures of modern life. Yes muslims living nato countries are aiding and supporting the enemy which is the global liberal power spearhead by the USA. Don’t fool yourself, giving dawa isn’t justification for all the harm you’re doing, don’t lie to yourself, yes, you do have a variety of countries you can move to, the question is are you willing to abandon your world of abundance for a basic farm life in a 3rd world country with constant instability for the sake of your brothers?

Yes, there are millions of Muslims living in those countries, and according to studies those countries have the highest levels of religiosity, fertility, traditionalism., search it up. again the question is are you willing to live in those so called “ war torn countries” for the sake of not playing a major hand in killing your brothers, and developing the economies of the enemies of Islam, or are you too consumed by the pleasures of this world.

Akhi, there is no need to insult your own brother just because you have some kind of grudge or disagreement with him. If you disagree, you can do it in a respectful way that is more likely to actually be beneficial. Spread goodness, not hatred between the ummah.
