My last surpressor took 3 months for a trust. That was 3 weeks ago when I got approved. I have a Dead Air lazarus 6 I submitted a week ago. If I had to guess it will probably be another 3 months but my first surpressor took 11 months. Shouldn't have to wait at all but that's the world we live in.

Thank you for the update. I've got my 2nd suppressor at my FFL right now and just waiting until I have the $200 tax stamp just to start the process. My last suppressor (also my very first) took exactly 7 days from when I had it certified. My NICS BGC comes back immediately EVERY TIME i purchase a gun. Even during the mad rush and backlog that Oregon uses to send BGC through, I've never had to wait and gotten instant approvals. So here's hoping that my next suppressor approval comes back as fast or faster.

Individuals have been coming back within a week for the last few months. Most of my customers get approval in 48 hours. I just got one back in 16. When you file as a trust it's still taking forever. Right now it's best to file as individual and get what you want on hand and thenpay to put them in a trust once you get what you want.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease! I called the ATF once a week for a month. Cant say it sped up the process, but my 1st suppressor took over 8 months with out calling the ATF. This 2nd suppressor took 5 months with calling the ATF.

Do it on a weekday, early AM like 730-830. I did the same put 3 control numbers in 1 email, got one approved in 5 min. Sent individual emails for the last 2 and got those back within 30 min

From my understanding and this came from the ATF themselves is that the people with clean backgrounds are being moved to the front of the line while the people who have extra research are being pushed to the back of the line to allow things to run smoothly.

I was waiting on a RAD45 since Dec 2023 and a Polo K since June 2024. I emailed NICS and requested an update. Their immediate response was that the ATF handles that and no update at this time. I replied with something along the lines of “Ok, I was just told the hold up is most likely a delayed background check. Are you confirming that this isn’t the case for my submissions?” Both were approved the next morning…Just don’t abuse that email and only use when you’re outside the normal time frame. I always get delayed checks and additionally submitted both cans via Trust.

Ya got to get set up for e forms, that takes a few days. Once your cleared and electronically signed your papers the process took me about 4-5 days for approval. Total time took me about 10 days for 6 stamps. Once in the system, I got the e sign email in hours with a 3-4 day wait after that for approval. My prior stamps took a year for approval

The last suppressor approved on July 24th and it went on my trust. I had it certified on April 8th. My last Form 1 approved within a week from certifying and it also went on my trust. It certified on August 14th and approved on August 21st. The previous Form 1 took only 3 days certifying on July 23rd and approved on July 26th. Not sure why wait times have increased. I have my theory that either the examiners are getting lazy again per the podcast from Colion Noir and former ATF Agent Rick Vasquez or like you said with the work load increasing because of the amount of applications piling up.

I emailed ATF and FBI, about my eform 1, submitted 7-16-24. Typical canned response. ATF says FBI has my NICS, and FBI tells me that my NICS is in process. My Eforms is 34 days so far. Last week I email/contacted my congresswoman, they contacted the ATF on my behalf. ATF inform them that my NICS is in "research status". I email FBI personally about the meaning "Research status".
