When I finally had the nerve to talk to him, I asked him, "Is Islam for Arab people? Can black people be Muslim?" He just laughed and said, "Yes, yes, please come here." I was Muslim within an hour after entering for "information". LOL

There have always been "white" people in Islam, many Muslims from Eastern Europe and also Western Europe, many reverts who come from a "white" western European background for hundreds of years. The title infers the term "white" and Islam are mutually exclusive, which is inherently an unislamic viewpoint. Please consider this.

iERA: are white people coming to Islam? Bosnians and Albanians: uhmm hallo, are we really invisible?! Lots of Turks are white and Caucasus as well... then some Muslim in Russia are also white. (Since we are talkin ''color'' I might add, when I say white, I mean European white, not white/pale by skin color, there is a difference). I'm Bosnian and Somalis are one of my most favorite people in the world, I just have great sympathy for them :)

I'm a white British sister I took shahada in the early 90s maa shaa Allah and I had varying comments mostly consisting of in a week you will be back to yourself. Yes I agree a hundred percent. I never ever considered Islam as a possible religion for me. For me it was always the religion of the Arabs or something. I simply didn't know. Well this year I reverted to Islam but only after living in Malaysia for a few months. I think he is so right, we need to bring Islam closer to "white" people.

It's a thing in the US for (esp the Left) people to claim that anyone who doesn't look like a Viking to be "not white" or a "person of color"...this is happening with the MENA push, to claim that otherwise white Arabs and Persians are somehow not really white (similar to how Latin Americans are categorized in the US). Ethnic whites, who derive from the original birthplace of white people (Todays Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Armenia, etc) learn when they get to the US, they all the sudden are not "white". Same with Latins.

America in my opinion is just filled with division. Coming from a white Muslim American myself, I always been looked down upon by other race but since I took my Shahada during Ramadan this year, I don’t care what other race think of me. But a lot of white people in America in general would either be scared of me or look down at me because they assume that I’m a foreigner because I have a speech problem from birth because I was born with a disability. I love every race and everybody equally. I don’t care what people think about me as long as they ain’t throwing hands or causing violence.

Lady it's the best cult, it gives do much respect to women, mohammad in his last sermon said respect women as you would do to your cattle, mohammad had great love for women, for the area six inches below their navel.see verses below, Under command of profart mohammad women are required to breast feed adult males, see the hadith s given below, Mohammadan women should suckle young males Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3424: ' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Messenger of Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man. 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed. Book 008, Number 3425: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Abu-Dawud: bk. 41, no. 5251, Hasan) MENTAL CAPACITY The Qur'an says that the testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man. It says that the testimony of two women is required to be equal to the testimony of one man. Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur'an 2:282, Dawood) Why is it that the testimony of a woman is only worth half that of a man? Muhammad explains in the following hadith. Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a women equal to half that of a man?" The women said "yes". He said "This is because of the deficiency of the women's mind." (Bukhari: vol. 3, bk. 48, no. 826, Khan) Above all remember reward of 72 juicy virgins only for men, women will have to pleasure their own cnuts.

I'm of Slovak descent (but I'm American) and honestly never knew that Bosnian Muslims were Slavic. I knew a number of Serbian immigrants and they always told me Bosnian Muslims were "Turks". It wasn't until I met a Bosnian Muslim woman who owned a restaurant in of all places Des Moines, Iowa--she told me that Bosnians Muslims were indeed Slavic people.

You’ve got to understand it from a cultural psyche perspective, a lot of first generation economic migrants wouldn’t have come across a lot of White Muslims due to their social surroundings I.e. mainly living amongst their own kind ethnically... As a person of Asian background, second generation it’s not an out of the box experience for me to see White Muslims and Alhumdulillah I don’t suffer from revert fascination, but what I do admire is the journey of a soul to reach Islam and in principle according to ones struggle is ones reward, with that in mind I understand the greater level of conviction as compared to those who’ve inherited Islam through being born into Muslim households/families.
