Are WITCHES Coming To Valheim? New Valheim Update News

This REALLY seems like there's gonna be a witch in there to me. What do you guys think?

Not only it looks like a hut for a witch, in the blog they even wrote "something BREWING in the swamp" so something to do with a witch. But being that October is right around the corner, it is going to be something with Halloween. To "witch", I think it was a little early to tease but if it is something permanent like a new trader I welcome it.

i agree because if it isnt an update that adds a new biome it would be pretty annoying to make a new world just for some houses

Yes for sure is a use for anciet bark. Currently there is no need to even get more than a couple stacks of it.

its a safe space to run to in a swamp, when fighting a boss, being overrun with mobs etc, so could be useful for newbs could also be a good way of finding a swamp if they are near starter area

I’ve just started playing valheim this month, I’m on day 48 and just got the fermenter up and going, I’m excited to see the game is still being updated with new bits and hasn’t been forgotten about

I'm excited about the new content! I hope there are barley meads for sale for some gold, or be able to break the cauldron down and sail the tin away. Even if it's all cosmetic though I'll still be happy haha. Miss ya brotha

At this point, they may add a trader in each biome. We got Hildr in the Meadows and Haldor in the Black Forest. Now we get Helga in the Swamp. As to what she would sell, I'm thinking maybe boons and charms. But the "cursed" kind, as in, a big buff coupled with a debuff. Like, +150%stam regen/ -50%HP&Eitr regen. Stuff like that. If they DO implement some kind of charm system thibg, I'm guessing it's gonna take the utility slot where the belt and wishbone would be. At least that'd be the easiest way to implement it.

Well, the blue runes look like a combination of "Hagall" and "Nauðr" in Younger Futhark. Hagall means "hail," as in the ice, and Nauðr means "need" but is also thought of as a beer-rune. Clearly this NPC sells ice cold beer in the swamp, and I'm all for that.

I thought it'd be another trader specializing in potions, and in the swamp a witch would make sense. Friend said the runes are for "gift" so maybe it's also a gift shop?

Looks like it would be a witch. Not sure what affect isn't already mitigated by current potions, boss powers or armor pieces. Have to think about it a bit...

The latest update includes lots of nerfs for mobs in the Ashlands. Should be much easier now.

300 hours with 3 friends, all quit at ashlands about a month ago. I called it when I got pushed into lava deep in ashlands trying to find a new charred fortess.
