There are many self righteous preachers and teachers around in these last days. They put themselves above others convincing them that they have all the right answers. We are supposed to humble ourselves before The Lord and not bask in the adoration of those who follow us. They do not study the scriptures and are destoying what true Christianity means. The bible in no way calls socialism or taxation that is going to feeding people who need resources to live "stealing." Ever. Making a law that people can't hoard wealth while other people are starving to death, dying of preventable diseases, etc. is the same as making murder illegal. We have laws that prevent bad things. That's what laws are supposed to do. Socialism (if it were ever enacted here, which it is nowhere near), is a means of preventing death, not enforcing generosity. PS. Are you against taxes going to the military?

What's somewhat ironic about your comment is that the greatest famine in history (The Great Chinese Famine) was caused by socialist policies (primarily the forced redistribution of wealth and resources). Not to mention the famines in the Soviet Union. These were all famines that were entirely man made and caused millions of deaths. What does the Bible say we should do? Help the poor, widows, and orphans? Or demand that the government take from others to redistribute to them? It seems like a lot of people who want to look generous but who are too selfish to use their own resources, love to demand the government to help others.

Again, 1 Jn. 2:18 KJV it's still going on. Not just denominations (division) but the many workers of iniquity, the many Christ warned of. Imagine not hearing from Christ "Well done good and faithful servant" but "depart from me worker of iniquity" Iniquity and divisions are dead things just like idols. God doesn't do dead things (Rev. 3) Matt. 24:5 = 1 Jn. 2:18 KJV
