Men who make less money than you will always feel effeminized by the gap in your tax bracket, so save yourself the wasted time coddling his ego and be with a man who is not fixated on what you bring to the table financially. There is a noticeable distinction when you meet men; a man who is truly doing well financially just cares if you are happy professionally, but a man who is a working stiff not creating wealth, cares a lot about what you do, how much you make, and how much you can contribute to the bills or go half on something. When you try to date down financially as woman because you're in love, you end up with your heart broken because it will cause conflict as he will resent your independence.
