its just the nature of keys which have no unified head, some keys have a slat instead of a hole which is while the key ring has been the dominant force, it fits every key, its also why those rubber heads were made with their own ring for those off ball keys

I bought a similar type product off eBay from China wondering if it would be good and I am amazed at how it is such an awesome mod to your keychain. Although I would recommend finding washers to replace the o-rings if it has them. really stiffened the key retention and wiggle up on my $.99 ebay find.
@SkaterChan8 жыл бұрын
I've had my keysmart for 8 months now, I love it, fits in your pocket really well. Only complaint I have is that my car key is too long and wide for it (looks like a smaller model of key smart than lou has). I ended up getting a copy of my car key made so it would fit in better, and I ended up condensing the keys I carry to 4, so it is about half the thickness of an iphone 5s. Great vid Lou

I was one of the very first people to buy the key smart. I was very hopeful. Having a big round bunch of keys in your pocket is uncomfortable and will wear through a nice pair of wool slacks. I have 8 keys so I needed the extension screws. The keys are hard to get out when you need them. The screws keep loosening up, even with the rubber washers and finally when you use the keys there are times when the whole contraption can get in the way of the door jamb. We haven't changed the way we carry keys for over 200 years and now I know why. The basic round ring really is the fastest and simplest to use. My key smart is now just floating in the bottom of a drawer.

@Emtje848 жыл бұрын
i bought it a while ago. forst it sounds pretty handy but in daily life it is very inconvinient. after puutin your key into the lock the key is pretty prone to break due to the leverage effect, especially when you hit the keysmart accidently after putting the key into the lock.
@Markusx268 жыл бұрын
The "Tidy Key System" has more options. I´ve got a tag if i lose my keys, you can call them say the ID and then contact you or send it home. Also there are tools available too and the USB Drives in Key Form are well known. You can use it also as a kobutan for self defense. It´s a little bit thicker than the american System but better in the hand.
