+Jacquietouch Wood that's fine. Some people don't turn off the phone at all. So once a week is recommended but daily is just fine

Thanks for this question, I was wondering myself if it was harmful or hopefully, better for battery life to power off nightly which is what I've been doing for about 2 weeks now. I'm finding I only lose about two percent overnight as opposed to 9-10 percent when I used to leave it on all night.
