Love the video. In the last few years it's become really obvious how much I value authenticity too. Its by far my number one trait that I look for in myself and other people. The only issue with this value is that I think it can easily take you down a road of pessimism. Not that it's necessarily bad, but I definitely notice myself having near zero tolerance now for people who are inauthentic, which is probably most people by my standards. So authenticity can quickly lead to isolation, or at least a much smaller group of like-minded friends and family. I'm quite interested in your views on religion/faith? Any videos on this? Keep it up :)

That's a great point! I have noticed similar things in my own life. I think it does have at least something to do with what you are talking about. I think I find that I match others energy in some way. Like, if I feel they aren't authentic, I won't fully lower my guard in some way. I'm not 100% sure how I relate exactly, but you definitely got me thinking... I believe our world would be much happier if everyone sought after that authenticity and fostered bonds that reflected how we really think and feel.

Oh, and videos on religion/faith: I have made a few on the channel for sure. The most recent was the First Reformed related video. I will certainly keep in mind that my audience may have interest in further videos similar in topic.🙏

I agree. But also acknowledge some negatives of a fully authentic world, shall we say. One example - lets take a conversation with a family member that someone sees irregularly. I think that among a lot of positive feelings and thoughts we have during conversation, we often have negative feelings, annoyances, or opinions that perhaps the other person won't like. So, if we were to be truly authentic, should we express those thoughts or opinions knowing it might be perceived badly or even hinder that relationship going forward? Or just make the conversation easy and act in agreement, even though you disagree, just to make things happy and simpler. Even if inauthentic. Just a thought. Can get complex, as with anything borderline philosophical.

I see your point. I have found myself in a situation just like that only days ago. I just had to act excited about a decision someone else made that I really did not agree with. Nuance, this topic certainly has.

"Our world is so dystopian and dating is horrifyingly miserable." Amen! 😵‍💫 I've also stopped going to church recently and I'm conflicted since, much like you, I've been going pretty much my entire life. The space is needed at the moment, though. So nice to know I'm not alone.🤗 Also loved your video about the future not seeming bright anymore (nice hat too🐮). Keep up the great content! You're helping others feel more understood and less alone in this crazy isolating & disorienting time.🌟

Your words are really inspiring to me. Thank you for the comment.🙏 All of you make me feel a little less alone. You should consider joining the discord we got going on. I'm new to it, but I'd love to get to know you better over there!

Thank you so much. Sometimes I feel insecure about a video and I wonder if I could have communicated my ideas better, but I still publish it because I really believe in the words.

As far as relationships go, it seems like there are mostly just two kinds of people left in the world. There used to be a third type (normal well adjusted supported happy people) Now it seems like there are only people with personality disorders and their victims. And both of the other types are masqurading as the first, so you cant tell if youre with a wolf until youre cozied up in their fur and they bite you. Being a victum sucks, so now were all too afraid to cozy up with anyone anymore. I dont know how we fix this social paradox but i dont blame us (the people) for it, because its pretty clear to see that, and how its been socially engeneered since vietnam. I cant beleive we were stupid enough to allow secret societies. Of corse they would be doing evil things if they have to do it all secretly..
