Can also put lots of flour over oil stains. Let flour absorb oil. Then shake off and wash.

That's so cool! I imagine a dress like that could be useful when caring for a newborn as well. Both for breastfeeding and because newborns are real good at making your clothes dirty. A dress also doesn't put any pressure on your stomach or vagina-region, and i imagine those areas could be real sore and sensetive

​@@harringt100honestly, I was always in an ever evolving array of things through the day. When you're lying /sitting a lot like you do while breastfeeding and pumping it's actually kind of nice to be wearing as little as possible to avoid it bunching or getting in the way.

I can confirm you are correct. I gave birth in a hospital gown but i bought two of these for after and i was in heaven. The few days after can also be a horror scene of fluids especially when your milk comes in 😅

It’s brilliant that there’s a company making comfortable, well thought out birth and post-natal wear (I’m assuming that tie close would also be great at allowing you to clean and take care of your downstairs while still maintaining any modesty that you want to). Plus it’s super cute! How you feel emotionally makes a pretty big difference in terms of medical outcomes, so even something as seemingly insignificant on such a massive occasion could be instrumental in making the experience happy and healthy for everyone involved

I wish I had this. I was fully unclothed while I was getting my epidural, and the anesthesiologist was a very attractive man. He was a good sport, he saw the tool pin on my purse and started making small talk about the best tool show he ever attended then he put on my favorite album when he was done

I bought one like that for my daughter when she had my granddaughter in 2020 and the entire labor staff was impressed. She was able to wear it for the entire process and it made her feel so much more like herself than a hospital gown.

I went without for my 2 birth I couldn't handle the gown the 1st time so I asked if I can go ALL natural and they said if I want to I can so I did and it was the best choice I made

I’ve always been a bit of a nudist. Hopefully there’s no male nurses on the unit, and I have a midwife doing my delivery, so yes I will be naked probably the entire time except for a diaper to keep the waters from getting messy 😊

I like being able to just take the gown off and throwing it in the hospital hamper and forgetting about it. After delivery for the rest of my hospital stay I would love this! Comfy, practical and nice enough to where you feel "put together" for visitors 😊

I wore a hospital gown for a few reasons. 1. Who am I trying to look cute for while giving birth? 2. Why pay for an outfit you'll rarely wear. 3. My water broke before my induction so all my plans went out the window. I went into rapid labor. Doctors were confused because it's my first pregnancy and they said that normally happens to women who already had a kid or two. 😭

Had cholestatsis in my first pregnancy and did not have it for the two babies afterwards... now I fear it has made a reappearance because that possibility never goes away. I didn’t have one of these, but I did bring my own gown and labored in it and then it got blood all over it when baby was out on me. I was in the hospital for 2 days and they just put it in a bag and I wasn’t able to wear it again. I tell all my friends to labor in the hospital gown and recover in your own( or you could bring 2) because they literally made me change out of mine right after birth and I had to wear a hospital one right after, I would have rather recovered in mine.

I have multiple of these dresses from the type she is wearing to ones that have sleeves and a robe. They also come with matching baby swaddle blankets that you can get bows or hats with. The only thing I can say about these is I am a 40 DD and while breastfeeding 40 H I always fall out of these so I had to take the straps and tie them together to help me stay in. And if you get an IV which most hospitals will make you do there is no way for you to take off your gown so just make sure a nurse or support person can help this gown travel up your IV line to have sit on the machine.

Does anyone know of a less expensive version of this brand? $65+ is a big pricey for a single gown on my current budget, especially with what supplies I still need before baby boy is here. All the cheaper gowns I've found, not to be mean or say they can't work well for others, look like they'll have an unpleasant texture/fabric and be more of a bad time than hospital gowns I've seen.(my skin is very sensitive) I really don't want to end up wearing a hospital gown, because each time I've worn one in the past I ended up getting a rash and chafing from it. I just want to be comfy as possible when he's being born, not have loads of bumps/hives/raw skin on top of a baby coming out my hoohaw😅

I bought a dressing gown from walmart for the hospital. Front opens as much as you want, waist tie and its cheap so who cares if it doesnt survive ... mine did though and it was great at home too. Didnt bother with shirts until milk came in. It wouldnt work for laboring but my c section moms out there dont forget yourselves too. Youll still be bleeding, get checked, have to pee constantly and have to breastfeed what feels like continuously, you dont want all that and something scratchy or touching your incision. Get a robe or nursing gown to take with you and i suggest a pack of new 1 size up granny panties... like the highest grannies you can find. The mesh undies are great but they dont feel great or secure and ya gotta home with something and youll be bloated, bleeding big time and have a wound to avoid for the next few weeks.

I got some baby doll nighties from target. They were perfect. I labored in them and gave birth in them and took a nap in them and they managed to stay pretty clean. I guess my midwives had a pretty good disposable chuck game. 😂

I had a dress similar made for myself my mother made it for me when I gave birth to my last child and it was wonderful because I'm very small and the gowns are horrible. I also made one for my daughter with her first child and they are great. They make it to where you can have monitors and IVs and epidural everything nursing everything and still be covered in your own clothes in your own comfort looking nice ECT it really is amazing and I wish I would have made the decision to have one made sooner.

Unfortunately in Germany they don’t allow you to wear your own gown but theirs because of the risk of infection. Only hospital gowns, I’m afraid!

Kind of cute idea but with my precipitous labors i do not have time to change my outfit for something comfy. I barely got my underwear off in time for the (home)birth of my second baby, moments after the midwife walked in the door. Imagine you're frozen half on your hands and knees, half sitting on one side, you realize you're pushing, your husband has been awake for 5 minutes, the midwife is still taking stock of the situation and looking for the fetal heart rate monitor in her bag, and you realize you've gotta fight your underwear off through a contraction lmao. Barely found the words to even ask for help

First labour i tore everything off the second i entered the room (i arrived at hospital ready to push....!) 2nd labour was induction so calmer. Once theyd popped my waters i just wanted to be in just bra and socks 😂
