Are you in love with your therapist?

Im not in love with my therapist, but I do have love for my therapist. She's great, and I appreciate her so much. I haven't been in therapy for 2 years now. I hope she's doing well.

What about loving your therapist as a mother? I've never thought of my therapists in a romantic way, but I've always loved them as a mother figure. My last therapist, I was actually enmeshed with in a way that I was transferring my want and need of a mother onto her. It led to countertransference and the need to seek out a new therapist as a result.
