I remember the first time I saw Dave win a race, my teammate said " That's Super Dave and he's going to win" and just like that Dave made it look easy.

Just met Super Dave and his amazing and beautiful wife and the Artemis team yesterday here in SoCal for Tour De California… amazing man and team and truly loved meeting them and hearing the story … he sent me your KZbin interview and gives even more insight … he asked for a photo with my junior pro devo son on LUX and we then got to find out who he was and wow!! What a man! Love Super Dave and his wife! Great interview and editing man! Keep up the good work! B

Wow, thanks! That means a lot coming from you. The D.C. crowd certainly knows who you are. I didn't realize you had a KZbin channel... looking forward to checking it out.

This was an excellent interview - all aspects, questioner, interviewee, and production. I raced and trained with Artemis. You nailed him at the end - his training is tailored to him. The social aspect of the club and how he uses the very engaging group rides in the DC Area to train, enables him to avoid burnout and love the sport. Periodization sometimes requires catch up - he touched on this when describing his first off season when he had to play catch up. Dave never has far to go to be race ready, and he is having fun while keeping sharp. His approach worked for me in my racing days.

Awesome interview. We need more story telling in bike racing & less "on board camera race footage." :-)
