What is the best ways to find all these hunts in America! I’m use to going to car shows and getting flyers for the next car show but I have no idea where to find Metal Detecting Hunts listed???

That’s a good question. I think there needs to be advertisement at hunts advertising future events like you said.

Sounds fun but metal detector training? Most new detectors are idiot proof turn on pick profile push button pump detector start swinging..lol

Most of the people who sign up for these events are members of either the LDMA or the GPAA. In other words, they spend most of their treasure hunting time with a gold pan, or sluice box of some kind. They mainly own older metal detectors and they don’t use them very often. This training time gives most everyone some knowledge they have never known, and that’s what the LDMA likes to provide their people. So we step in to help facilitate that for them. 👍🏼
