Competition 1# Honestly id say aegis is the best for miniguns. Aegis is the best mech for capping beacons and the minigun with the large mag size helps it do that alot. Mechs like eclipse or deathwalker can use revoker, stormrack or embers instead.

I don’t care what you say. Longarms STILL WORK amazingly. What do you mean they don’t do enough damage. My 12s are 6 Star and they do 120,000 per magazine on each weapon. That’s before the overheat effect, which doubles that. Assuming you get the overheat effect on the first shot, which is what happens most of the time when you have them at 6 star, you’re doing 430,000 damage if you’re dual welding them. This is before implants and pilots. What about that says weak to you?

Best mech to use miniguns with? Eclipse, it's the only mech that can negate the negative speed effect with its implant, and it can outdps the revokers. The main downside is when it is on reload. An upside is that it is less likely to be affected by Outlaw bots. In general there was a lack of motivation on your tiering the weapons, but it does gives a good perception on what your gut feeling on the weapons is. Personally I can't agree with using the term Meta for a lot of weapons as basically currently the only META is revokers and storm racks due to their cheapness and working on everything, while pod guns, miniguns, overdrivers, and nade launchers are more a niche weapon.

Hey buddy, high SP competitive player here. Eclipse minigun does not outdps revoker eclipse. Miniguns aren't the greatest weapon to use in competitive play once you reach the highest SP, Eclipse is the only mech that can make them good

​@@A_LoweCutTopTo simplify this: Just ask a friend to run miniguns, stand at 50 meters and you with revokers and see who died first, repeat test each time with a 5 meters closer until you find the sweet spot. That is the point where Miniguns can outDPS the revokers. This isn't a difficult test, I'm certain you will be able to do so. English is probably your native language, but the word "can" implies that in certain situations it does. I highly recommend testing stuff like this, I take it you are struggling vs Revokers, a basic understanding of the game mechanics increases overall skill level and allows you to cope with stuff a lot of people are having difficulty with.

@@A_LoweCutTop I usually put more things in S tier bc it’s boring when it’s two items up there, so A is probably more accurate. But have you ever used nades? If you’re any good with them they’re a solid off-meta pick and up there with storm rack on maps with big elevation differences between important places. Nades are severely underrated because nobody actually takes the time to learn them, instead immediately dismissing them as trash when they can’t hit more than 2 shots per magazine.

I would go for some tanks like vortex, gatecrasher or bastion. since it's reload time is very long we need a way to counter or finish of the enemy in case the mags run out also withstand the dmg until it's reloaded. apart from this i would say eclipse is also a good mech it would be really good if we have turning recoil implant.
