Unfortunately I have 2 auto immune diseases. Could steroid infusions I had in the past for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) treatment affect my fertility now? The treatments were 2 years ago. Edited to add- I think the fact that I had a traumatic childhood, was drinking a lot of caffeine, fat and a former smoker has more to do with the state of my health and fertility than the steroid treatments. That’s the least of my concerns🙄. I’m just going to continue on becoming healthy. I started therapy a few months ago to finally work through my childhood sexual abuse. I quit smoking 2 months-27 days- and 3 hours ago 😊 I started Keto this week and have been on a supplement regime for a little over a month. I guess I’m just reminding myself here that I can make changes in my life and I am. TTCing has really woke me up. I’ve been sleep for awhile now. Thank you for your videos. I have very high DHEAS....like double normal high value. High cortisol and cortisone byproducts but normal cortisol pattern. High androgens. What does that mean?
@PandaA-cv3mm4 жыл бұрын
This can be caused by overworked adrenals. I had this too and ovaries were ok. I took saw palmetto and 2-4 cups of spearmint tea a day as well as phosphatidylserine, vitamin D3, mill thistle, DIM, omegas, Ubiquinol on top of my prenatal and my androgens reduced. Cutting out so much coffee and meditation helped with the adrenals. Have you been under a lot of stress or trauma in the past? How does this change if you already have hypothyroidism? I was diagnosed when I was a child, so it's something I've been on medication for for most of my life. It seems well controlled now but i'm not sure if that means I am more likely to develop this issue. What are the ranges of BBT before and after ovulation? I've read online that the below ranges are for pre and post-ovulation, but I see other people's charts outside those ranges. So should those ranges be the norm or does it depend on people. "Before ovulation, a woman's BBT averages between 36.1°C (97°F) and 36.4°C (97.5°F). After ovulation, it rises to 36.4°C (97.6°F) to 37°C (98.6°F). "

Do you get a lot of chin hair, etc.? If so you may also want to lower your androgens. Saw palmetto and 2-4 cups spearmint tea a day helped me a lot within 3 months. Also the phosphatidylserine for chronic anxiety and natural progesterone cream from day 14 til period. Adrenals can also produce male hormones causing the Pcos. Not always is it the ovaries. I had to learn this the hard way after seeing so many specialists and getting nowhere. This is an excellent station and Fleur is great. She’s helped me a lot. My DHEA and Pcos balanced after doing this and upping vitamin D and taking good Omega oils. Hope this helps 🙏😊

Oh poor you! Yeah I think your adrenals are shocked. I went off steroids cold turkey too 8 years ago, in fact at the same time as all pain medication, contraceptives and anti-histamines, so I like it when others just do it like that too haha eventhough yeah, no... it's not adviced hehe. I doubt you need medical intervention, however definitely care for your adrenals now, and see if you can find a homeopath to help you detox the steroids.

Keto and intermittent fasting really hurt me and my cortisol and anxiety/heart rate went through he roof. As soon as I went back to small meals throughout the day with good fats like avocados and olive oil and good carbs like sweet potatoes and some brown rice here and there I felt much better. Everybody is different and some do so well on keto but I just wanted to put this out there. I also have a friend who had to be hospitalised as her heart rate was so high even with supplementing the electrolytes as recommended. I think that people with adrenal issues should stay away from both of these and focus on balanced and stable meals that help insulin stay regulated. Cutting out sugar is a must though. This is a wonderful channel. Hope you are well. 😊🌈
