my piggy was acting happy right up until the morning her behavior changed and passed away suddenly less than 12 hours later. she was only 3 years old. my first pig. i loved her and she loved us so much. RIP my beautiful Pooper.

My 8 year old is happier now since changing to fleece. He had sore feet and was in his house more. I took Pip to the vet. She treated the foot. He still had red feet until the fleece. I was afraid he would chew on the fleece but no chewing yet. He's walking a lot and is outside of his house. His feet look better. I'm ordering more fleece. He gives me kisses sometimes. I have learned to declutter and make Harriet and Clementime's home simple, as long as they have plenty of hay, they are happy,lol! They love their tunnels too! Napping and resting as they snuggle next together is a favorite and a daily occurance.

I know when my rescue piggys are happy when they start to play. Some times its a couple of months before they show they are feeling better. Clean cage, good food, clean water, vitamin C and quite often Criticare.

I had a wondrous moment a few months ago when I was watching Kramer sleep. I noticed he was dreaming with small movements and REM - while I was standing right next to him and my cat was screaming at me to get my attention. I decided to walk away so I wouldn’t wake him. Now I know he’s extremely happy 😃 ❤

Yep, lots of uncluttered space so that they can run and be Guinea Pigs. I love to see them popcorning, often after they have been given their favourite veggies or suitable treats. BB is a little ⭐ Thank you for the great video Scotty 👍🐹🐹🐹

My husband bought yogurt drops for our girls last week. I said no they can’t have that!! He said it says they can? I said no they can’t and told him there’s lots of stuff they sell that isn’t piggy safe. He is just getting into having the girls. I got them 3 &1/2 years ago, he’s allergic to them , but is now starting to like them.

Napping, yes. There was this pet shop with up to nine piggies in the window. It was a rarity to see one of them streched out napping, probabaly the most dominant one. They had only one house in there and were fighting over it. So no napping in the house. Bad idea to buy them though. The next day there would be nine others suffering.

To be honest, I used to give my piggies honey or yoghurt covered seed sticks. Also, they never used to last that long. There are more worthwhile ways to give your piggies treats. 🌈

It is something I talk about a lot. Especially when it comes to misdiagnosing illness people think they're guinea pigs are sad when really they have a respiratory infection

My two 5 yr old girls were in an environment with two roudy boys so they are very startled when I even make the slightest move around them. I have tried to give them floor time at least every other day. I hav3 bonding time that I hold them usually before or after they go from their floor space or vice versa but they still run and hide from me and are startled when I come next to their cage or enter the room. I'm not sure if they will ever be calm.
