everyone: speculates about Area51 Airport. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: *Allow me to introduce myself*
@SuperGamingeek4 жыл бұрын
They just do flight testing of advanced programs there. If I had to guess it's probably used as an extension of Plant 42 in Palmdale which is staffed by NASA armstrong, Boeing phantom works, and the Northrop/Lockheed ADP divisions. New aircraft built there are flown at night to Area 51 and then extensive flight testing is done there in the middle of nowhere. Again, just a guess, but a reasonably educated one. It makes sense too, you don't want to be flying top secret and 6th gen aircraft 50 miles from Los Angeles or anything. And JANET allows civilian employees to live in Vegas but fly to work however often they need to.

Ya I read the memoir of Ben Rich, the director of the Lockheed skunk works, and he explained how they established Homey base. Its just for testing secret aircraft. If you don't want other nations spying on your technical developments build a secret base with underground hangars in a desert with no people around for miles and narrow down entry points so people can't get in. If you look at it logically, its obvious that it isn't some alien conspiracy.
@SuperGamingeek4 жыл бұрын
@@nico5618 yup! Skunk works did a great job laying this all out. They literally established it because it looked like a nice wide open dry lake bed to land planes.

Actually, Janet Airlines has 6 each 737-200's & 600's. All look the same, and when they leave Las Vegas, the just close the door, turn on the engines and then they TELL air traffic control that they are taxing, and what runway they are going to use; everyone else can wait. Same on landing, they arrive into LAS airspace and tell them that they are landing and where. The plane takes off, then at 10,000 feet they turn off their transponder and disappear. Upon return, they turn it back on and re-appear.

They don't have 737-100s, they use 737-600s.
@LoydChampion4 жыл бұрын
@@valrabellkeys9867 I stand corrected. In 2001 they were all 737-200's, but I spoke with a friend of mine and I learned that they have expanded the fleet with 6 additional aircraft that are 600's which were purchased used. At that time they retired one of the older 737's so they now have a fleet of 11 aircraft, and save more than Las Vegas. I was told that they now serve airports as far away from Homey Airport as Wright-Patterson Air-Force Base in Dayton, OH. I have also seen their plain painted planes taking off at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Palmdale, and one even out at San Nicholas Island.
@valrabellkeys98674 жыл бұрын
@@LoydChampion very cool! I believe all their -200s were retired years ago sadly. I'd love to see one of those planes at LAS some day..
@LoydChampion4 жыл бұрын
@@valrabellkeys9867 I included them in my presumption because about a month ago I saw one take off from Vandenberg when I was up there. Only 3 people got onto it, and of course, like all of their flights, no idea where it was going. It took off over the ocean and durned to the south.

I wasn't exactly by area 51, but out in the center of Nevada about 3 years ago right after sunset when this mysterious black "stingray" looking aircraft flew over me. But what was odd is that it seemed to be completely silent, and was flying at about 10,000 feet above the terrain, and had this "V" shaped set of neon green lights trailing it, but the lights didn't seem attached to the aircraft

I have worked on the infrastructure of this airport. It is not officially called Area51, nor is it even an entity of the United States. It is a foreign investment on US Soil and private. The US Govt does not fund this operation. There are 5 levels of this facility. Surface airport, which is literally an airport for flying the residents and workers in and out. 2nd level is security and processing. 3rd level is commercial (shops/restaurants). 4th level is residence. 5th level is workshop (hangars, mills etc). There is talk of a 6th level which is said to be a power plant and high security (mox fuel containment). On a technical outlook, it has zero to do with UFOs, aliens from other worlds, etc... never has it been associated with these things except for US Citizens speculating about it.
