Nice vid! My dad worked for EG&G for 29 years until his branch was bought out by Bechtel and I thought I might add what very little about bricks that I know. Us locals are used to seeing those planes and we just refer to them as "Test site planes" and my dad has been on a couple of them to Yucca mountain, a nuclear storage facility. Also, for those employees who are not fond of flying, have the choice of riding unmarked test site buses that leave from NorthWest Las Vegas right off the I-95 and Craig exit. I hope this information on bricks doesn't make the internet explode. Cheers!

I remember eating breakfast in my car in the Jack in the box parkinglot next to Las Vegas airport early morning and watching the planes fly off. All planes would fly straight forward after takeoff but this one plane quickly turned right after leaving ground and I noticed the red lines and realized it was a JANET plane. I could for a breif second see aliens inside the airplane cabin and I believe they were holding bricks.

Have you ever heard of Evergreen International Airlines? My dad flew for them for 20 years. He had signed an NDA so he never really spoke much about what they used to do, but he has told me some. After he resigned he dealt with some inner turmoil and confessed some of the stuff they were involved with, but he told me everything was so compartmentalized that he didn’t find out until after what he was transporting or who he was flying.

Best answer so far. There's another curious operator that flies a bizjet. On querying the tail number it's not operated by the USAF, instead a little company based in the vicinity of Langley, Virginia. Often seen at Prestwick airport, Scotland, refuelling after an Atlantic crossing, it's believed to carry those about to undergo 'special rendition'.

Too much video in the ad. The correct answer is this video is shorter than other videos from the channel, that's why you think ads are longer.

I flew on one of those planes while in the Marine Corps. We left from March Airfield in California and landed in Kuwait City after making stops in Bangor Maine and Shannon Ireland. I actually have a picture of the plane. I remember looking at the plane and observing that it looked like a commercial flight, but I'd never seen such a paint scheme on a commercial flight. I think they are just used for government employee transport in general.

When my dad was in the Air Force, the last two years before he retired he flew on those Janet planes, I saw them all the time when I lived in Vegas. I used my brothers telescope to visually track them for a little bit after they turned off their transponders (about five minutes)

(long story of when I think I saw a Janet plane before) So a few years ago when I was in the boy scouts me and a handful of other scouts went to Hurlbert Field AFB in Fort Walton Beach Florida to work on the aeronautics Merit Badge (our troop was mostly kids of people who worked there including my dad) after learning how to plot a flight plan on aeronautic maps and doing a preflight checklist on an actual AC-130 we got to go into the control tower. It was extremely cool but we were told that we couldn't take pictures or interfere with anything, we got to learn the procedure that planes took while landing, how the tower got their weather information, and how the tower communicated with planes. It was a once and a lifetime experience that has made me want to peruse a career as a pilot. Long story short, while we were in the tower I can clearly remember a white jet plane with a red stripe landing and taxing to one of the hangers. We were told it was a high ranking Air Force person visiting the base. I can't remember the exact title because it's been a while but I am 83% sure it was one of those 737s. Why TF did you read all that, anyways have a good day!

This was a very interesting videos about bricks to be honest , never knew they changed sizes that much. But I'm honestly curious about what happens if you made a giant brick, a few thousand feet across and tried to measure it only by walking around. How much would it take for someone to measure it on all 4 sides could we see the end? Im pretty sure we could use markers or cameras to track how long it would take to reach certain points along it

I worked for Honeywell als in Kingman Az and worked on the wheels and brakes for these planes. When the van that would bring the parts that needed refurbishing dropped them off, two guys would get out of the van, wearing dark sun glasses and black military outfits carrying m16s. A third guy would get out, pull the parts off the van, they would get back in and drive off. We were told NOT to go out while they were there or we would be shot on the spot. The only way I knew what they looked like is because our dock door had a tinted glass slot window where they could be watched only if you were lucky enough to Catch them at right time. This wasn't hard to do because they would call and tell you that there was a two hour window of when they would be there to deliver the parts. The planes were 737-200 planes.

Back in the 80's, during the time of below ground nuclear testing. flights would leave Los Alamos in the beginning of the week and fly to "desert rock" (Nevada) and then return Friday afternoon. Those planes would also connect ABQ (Kirkland AFB) with Los Alamos. On those flights, tickets could be purchased by the public; flights to desert rock were restricted to lab personnel only.

Matthew Lysenko Can I ask you about the Men in Black? I want to know the types of bricks, plaster, and ceramics they used to build their HQ under the Battery in New York. I have no further questions. ...Sorry, that garbled nonsense must have been written by someone else. Maybe Tessa Thompson or Will Smith, who knows. All I remember is being told that it wasn't me who wrote the nonsense about some random basement near the Battery. MIB fans should be able to know what I'm getting at with the memory loss thing.

this is actually trippy bc a quick look at google earth shows that when the carpark is full, most of janet's planes aren't around. when the carpark is empty, all janet planes are parked up at LAS. and this is no coincidence too, it's a trend that you'll notice if you go back in time on google statellite. how many people are being transported, because that's a lot of cars!
