After watching this video, I checked my Arica palm thoroughly if it's infected. Thank god it's fine. But what I observe sometimes few white dots on leaves as if some salt deposit. As we have hard water. These dots after misting and wiping the leaves get easily removed. Thanks Ma'am 🙏

Mam mere areca par brown spots hain jaise aapne dikhaya hai. And for that reason one of the stems has rotten. That stem has 3 branches including one new leaf. I cut down the infested branch entirely. Then today I cleaned the plant with liquid soap and neem oil. Will the other branches die because of this. Should I add fungicide solution in the roots also. Please reply mam. I am worried.

My areca palm has scale infestation. They are stuck to the leaves. How do I remove the brown scales. Also, I don't have bio enzyme. Is there an alternative till I make one. Thank you

My Areca palm is in a big pot, it’s a big plant and completely infested like what you showed. If it’s too heavy to tilt sideways and wash can I use a cloth dipped in the solution you have shown and wipe down each leaf? Also should I use hydrogen peroxide only after the white spots etc is completely gone? Would appreciate your help M’mam. Your videos are like gardening classes for beginners like me. Thank you so much for all that you share!

Hi Luna you can do the way you have suggested . Do it in a gap of 2-3 days for 2 weeks. Then cover the soil with Polythene and wash the plant so that water does not enter the soil. Use hudrogen peroxide after white spots are gone

@@mitabishnoigardentips6137 Thankyou.. yes covering with a plastic sheet is a good idea. I have tried as you suggested… the white spots are a lot less but will probably take a few more treatments to be completely bug free!
